Bailey's head was resting on the vehicle window, and a slight headache arose as a result of the extended duration of the journey. The radio was playing in the background, as the environment was relatively quiet.

"Wait a sec..how big?" Dustin has been providing an explanation of the events to them as they drove, prompting Steve to enquire as he gazed into the rearview mirror.

"First it was like that. Now he's like this" Dustin illustrated the distance by moving his hands.

"I swear to God, man, it's just some little lizard, okay?"

"From Dustin's account, it appears that it is not a mere lizard." Bailey says at the curly-haired youngster grinned at him with joy, as someone had paid attention to him.

"How do you know it's not just a lizard?"

"Because his face opened up and he ate my cat." Dustin asserts that as Steve and Bailey were once again confronted with the upside-down world, and this time, it appeared to be becoming more potent.

Bailey inhaled and exhaled slowly before unbuckling his seatbelt and exiting the vehicle in front of the residence. He proceeded to the rear of the vehicle as Steve opened the trunk. He observed the baseball bat with the nails embedded in it. The one that rescued him from the creature during the initial encounter.

Before reaching for a long, sharp object, Steve positions the baseball bat over his shoulder. Bailey's knife from the night of the incident. "I believed it would be beneficial in the event that we required it." Steve said that he was giving it to Bailey.

"Thank you, Steve." "He said that as the two teenagers looked at each other as a wave of something flushed through them as he grabbed it. Dustin was already strolling after he shut the trunk, and the two followed him.

Steve gazed downward at the shed opening as they proceeded towards it, occasionally striking it with his baseball bat. The atmosphere was serene. "I don't hear shit."

"He's in there." Dustin stated as he advanced.

"All right, listen, kid. I swear, if this is some sort of Halloween prank." Steve turned to face Dustin and placed a hand on his hip.

"It's not a prank." Dustin defended himself. "Get it out of my face."

Steve gazed downward at the structure before turning his attention back to Dustin. "You got a key for this thing?"

The key was delivered to him by Dustin, and Steve knelt down to unlock the door before opening it. Bailey stood in front of Dustin in the event that the object suddenly appeared.

"He must be further down there." Dustin stated as they were unable to observe anything because there was nothing present. However, Bailey was unable to suppress a faint sense of apprehension regarding the potential contents. "I'll stay up here in case he tries to escape."

As Steve descended the stairway, Bailey felt an overwhelming sense of anxiety. "Steve." Bailey exclaimed, prompting the boy to turn and face him. "Don't hurt yourself."

Steve nodded and descended the steps, while Bailey awaited his reappearance with anticipation. Dustin sat in silence, appearing bored as he waited. "Steve, what's going on down there?" Dustin asked.

They recoiled slightly as Steve materialised unexpectedly. Bailey placed his hand over his heart in response to the jumpscare. "Get down here."

They descended the steps to find Steve grasping something viscous and unpleasant on his baseball bat. Bailey observed it and winced. "Oh shit." Dustin muttered

However, they encountered a more significant issue when realising that the creature had indeed escaped from the shed. It might now be located anywhere. Bailey disliked the sensation of it being exposed, as they now needed to locate it before others emerged.
