Brent's eyes went everywhere I did, scrutinizing every single movement I made, he was William's right hand man after all.

He was the tallest human being I ever came across, I was pretty sure if he was painted green he could play hulk without any VFX.

With him on my back there could be no escape whatsoever. I needed him to go away for ten minutes, I just did. There were no salespeople, cashiers etc today here at the mall

An escape wouldn't be easy but it was still possible unlike that island in the middle of nowhere.

I didn't want to go back. I wanted to raise my baby away from these psychotic brothers.

Brent stood just meters away from me, keeping his distance while also tracking my moves. Guess even this hulk was afraid of offending William Astor. Just gives you an idea of how ruthless William really was.

My mind was racing with a million ideas of getting away from him but nothing seemed to stick, nothing seemed plausible. I was an amateur in escaping or even lying for that matter.

‘Oh, Brent will you get me a glass of water?’

But he was carrying a water bottle with him.

‘Brent I feel nauseous, can you get me something to sit on?’

He would just call William and tell him about my nausea. So there wasn't much use of that either.

I could always punch the life out of him but I didn't think he would even notice it.

All that left me with the good old classic ‘I am gonna go to the washroom for a sec’

It wasn't so convenient that he didn't have to move and it wasn't even alerting that he would have to notify William, hopefully.

Fingers crossed

Three… two… one… go

“Brent, can you hold these dresses for me while I freshen up in the washroom?” I asked, pouring extra honey in my voice.

His expressions remained set in stone as he replied “of course, Mrs. Astor”

And he took the clothes from my hands, making sure that he didn't touch me by mistake. Damn what did William do to him?

Whatever it was he did, I didn't care at all. Because it was none of my business since I was about to escape the hell out of this place within the next fifteen minutes.
