It was hectic to deal with Russians all alone.

But I had so much shit on them, so they were quite flexible with the negotiations last night.

I had no clue about what happened at the house because I couldn't find any time to check my phone and look at the live footage from the mansion.

My spy cameras weren't just spread across William's room, but they were everywhere, from the garden to the pool, from gymnasium to the kitchen.

I had all the information around the house. The cameras William used were pretty outdated and they were designed by yours truly, Nathaniel Astor.

So, it wasn't a big deal to play recordings on some cameras when I needed them to.

William liked to think that he's invincible but unfortunately that's not at all true.

Now, about five hours ago my phone chimed with a notification that someone has tried to unlock my laptop.

It was quite easy to find who that "someone" was because of the a spy ware I had fit in my laptop that showed me Connor's puzzeled expressions.

Phew. It was Connor and thus, no big deal. Even if he decoded my password, he could check my laptop.

He was probably having difficulty at being away from Anya. Like me.

He could watch her. It was William who was an issue.

It was premature for him to find out about my infatuation with Anya.

As long as Connor distracted him, I had complete freedom to do as I pleased around the house.

Me talking to Anya didn't bother William as much.

But if he had even the slightest inkling of our plan he would throw both of us out of the freaking country. Not just his house.

I had no clue what exactly happened but I knew something did.

There was tension in the house today and William's face was beaten up like a punching bag

Clearly something happened while I was away.

I needed to know because I hated being out of loop.

So, I eventually found out what had happened.

And I was glad Connor beat the living shit out of him.
