Meeting in Paris

Part Eighteen

Madam Khadija sat in her house in order to review the comprehensive report prepared by Samir Khairat on the period from the illness of the late Rafiq, Youssef’s father, until Youssef assumed the presidency of the Board of Directors in his father’s place. 

Khadija began examining the paper carefully. She divided the paper relating to the operations that had been completed into the papers of the operations that were legally sound and those that were not legally sound. Salma: No, but I don’t want to stop you from working.

Salwa: No stop  or anything. The time you spend with me while we drink coffee is not much

Salma: Yes, I will stop by every morning so we can drink tea together.

Salwa: Are you going to go with Mr. Youssef today like yesterday?S

alma: No, of course, but yesterday, Mr. Youssef went with me to my house in order to see my mother, because we have been an old acquaintance for a long time, because Youssef’s father and his mother were neighbors with their mother, and as you also know, my mother used to work with the late Rafiq, Youssef’s father. Salwa: She smiled because she obtained important information.

Salma asked permission from Salwa in the hope of meeting her in the morning to drink tea together.
