"Jesus christ breanna you can't keep doing this shit to yourself your whole life!" Oh God. Once again like every other day we're arguing about any possible little thing you could think of. Today it was because I told her I wanted to quit the cheer team, I mean I'm human she can only expect me to be so "perfect" just because she was in her highschool years.

It was my third week at ridge point and it was hell. Not to mention all the stares I got because I took Cassie's spot as cheer captain of the team. She was pissed because her dad payed her way in and I had real talent. What a perfect little bitch.

"Hurry up bre!" I heard my mom yell from downstairs. I really hope she won't keep this argument about the cheer thing going on in the car, my head is pounding and I feel like a zombie. I grabbed my phone and bag and rushed downstairs so she wouldn't yell for me again. It's only 5:00 and I don't think I can take another person raising their voice today, atleast not with this headache.

"Did you wake up Emily?" Shit. "Uhm no.. just don't worry about it mom I'll drive her today I promise to get her there in time". I'm 100% sure she noticed the panic in my voice, hopefully my little sister didn't take a million years to get ready today.

----------

"Emily get up. now" I know it's early and that sounded stern but the day had just started and between cheer, my mom, and running late, I was fed up. "What time is it?" I heard my sister groan. Lord save me please. She's only in the 9th grade I seriously don't understand why she has to go to school at the same time as me. "Just get up Emily, you have 45 minutes make it quick please. and it's 5:05."

6:05-----
I began starting the car while Emily locked the house up, my mom was so strict about us being "safe" even tho we lived in what seemed to be a perfect neighborhood. I don't understand why we have to bounce states all the time because of her job. Why can't she go and just leave us in one place with Lottie, she's making my whole life a living hell.

The car ride to school was silent. Emily was slumped over on the door sleep since she had stayed up all night and Im not sure where I was. I know I zoned out but I'm not sure what I was thinking about maybe a little bit of everything. It was my senior year of highschool and I had so much going on. Work, dance, cheer, volleyball. God I just wanted it to be over. On top of that moving so much caused me to lose friends quickly so I gave the whole social butterfly thing up.

6:30--
I parked the car and said bye to Emily as she walked across the parking lot towards the 9th grade campus to meet up with Laila and Mara. I could see Laila flash me a quick smile while Emily hugged Mara. They were her best friends who somehow connected with her quickly. Ridge point was a new start for us and Emily seemed to be getting around just fine and despite me hating it here, that put a smile on my face. I loved seeing her happy.

I quickly moved across the parking lot with cars coming in and out, this place was always busy. I stopped in front of school before I got a text from jas, she was basically the only friend I had at this school. "Where are you?" I read as the message floated across the screen. I texted back "In front of the main building" before putting in my headphones and shutting off my phone. I hope she hurries because I'm 101% sure I look awkward standing alone and I could see the most annoying girl in the world slowly approaching. Cassie.

"Hey bri-" "Whewww lets go". Thank God Jas showed up in time or I'm positive I would have been listening to Cassie cry about cheer captain for the next hour. "Well thank you for another save, super girl" I teased at jas. She had honestly been keeping me on track and out of trouble cause God knows I wanted to strangle Cassie. "Sooo.." she trailed off. So what?. She always did that when she ran out of things to talk about but surprisingly, she had something to say.

"I heard we're getting a new girl." Why is she telling me this? "Really? that's cool." I said and made it very clear I didn't care. "And I heard she's cuteeee." Oh my God not again. "Jas no you've been trying to get me into a relationship since I got here, I'm just not interested." She wants everyone to be as happy as her and Scott but honestly, after my last and only relationship, that was enough.

"Bre please give this one chance you don't even know what she looks like yet. On top of that you're always alone and so sad come on pleaseeee." Is she really begging me right now? "And I don't care." That was all I got to say before Scott approached and pressed his lips softly on Jasmine's forehead, sometimes I do wish I had that.

Jas told me she would see me at lunch before her and Scott walked away. I walked slowly to English, atleast my first class was easy. We only had two assignments a day in there and I could finish those in no time. I sat down at my desk and started on the handouts and sure enough, 15 minutes later I was done. Now I just had to figure out what to do with the last 35 minutes of class. I pulled out my phone and scrolled through my Instagram feed before I slowly dozed off.

*Bell*----

Jesus how was it time for second period already? I got up from my desk and dragged myself through the hallway. I seriously did not feel good. I had art and since the year had just started we did the basic coloring sheets. I decided not to do it,  my head was pounding at this point and I needed a nap. I fell asleep for maybe 20 minutes but it didn't do much, I woke up halfway through class and realized my phone was on 15%. Did I not charge it last night? I needed my phone and I knew for a fact my momma wouldn't drop off my charger nor would my brother josh. I decided to call Lottie and ask her to drop it off.

----------------------
"Heyyy lottie.."

"Good morning bre"

"Can you drop off my charger? my phone's running low, and I would ask your wife but she has a SERIOUSLY pissy attitude this morning"

"Bre you can't just call your mom "my wife" whenever your mad, and how did you forget your stuff again?"

"Emily overslept, and yes I can"

"*Sigh* come get it during the passing period, I'll be waiting outside"

"Thanks lottie, bye!"

"Bye Bre"
-----------------------

She was the best mom ever and I'm glad her and my momma decided to work things out all the times they did. She had been there my whole life and I wouldn't want it any other way. I went back to sleep and awoke to the sound of the bell ringing for third period... the late bell. I watched as the new class walked in and I quickly left. I knew lottie had been waiting a while and I didn't want to make her wait any longer knowing she had work.

I quickly rushed downstairs and out the main doors, I spotted Lottie's car and ran over. "Hi. Thanks. Bye" that's all I had time to say before something --no. Someone, caught my eye and I was stuck standing where the car door was as lottie drove off. I watched her as she walked in the building. I figured I was staring too hard because she definitely saw me and flashed me a quick smile. The sexiest smile I've ever seen. I swear my world moved in slow motion.

holy fuck who was that.
