Zoey's laughter filled Mia's car as they drove away. "We really owe Trent for this one," she said, still buzzing from the adrenaline.

Mia nodded, searching for her phone. "We should call him. Where did I put it?"

"It's out of battery. You call him," Mia suggested.

Zoey dialed Trent's number, her excitement palpable. Meanwhile, Dante was in his office, a rare smile on his face, when the loud ringtone interrupted his thoughts. He glanced at Trent, who hesitated to answer.

"Answer it," Dante commanded, his patience wearing thin.

Trent reluctantly picked up, and Zoey's voice boomed through the speaker. "Trent, my man, did you see us? We taught those bullies a lesson! I was all punch, punch, punch, and Mia was kick, kick, kick. We owe you big time!"

Dante listened, his expression unreadable.

"You made me proud, my little students," Trent replied, his voice filled with pride.

"We're heading to your company. Sneak out, and don't let your boss know, or we'll be in trouble," Mia chimed in.

"Why are you talking like that?" Trent asked, amused.

Zoey laughed. "Those street thugs think they're tough, but we showed them. We're on our way, my man. We owe you!"

Dante's stare turned icy when Zoey called Trent 'my man.' A surge of anger rose within him.

"You're fired," Dante said coldly.

"What? Why?" Trent was taken aback.

"I thought you didn't care about Zoey. What's with the jealousy?" Trent smirked.

"I'm not jealous. Just leave," Dante snapped, his annoyance clear.

As Trent left, Dante's phone beeped. It was a message from Laila.

'Dante, can we meet up? I have something to say.'

Dante raised an eyebrow, then gave his orders in a text to Trent.

"Go and have fun, but make sure Zoey doesn't drink. Tell Keegan to be Mia's plus one and delay Zoey by 30 minutes at 7. The address is below, "

With that, Dante walked out, his mind a whirlwind of emotions and, of course, calculations.
