I woke up hearing someone's footsteps. It was two policemans. But why are they here? Huh? Wait, Alex! I turned my head aside and oh thank god, Alex was here with me. He was awake too.
"Excuse me?" The policeman spoke.
"Y-yes?" I replied. I was kinda scared because why are they here
"What are you two doing here? Are you alone?"
"Uhmm..."
"We won't tell you!" Alex spoke.
"Kid, I can see that you're alone. And besides I think you were here for a long time. Look at your clothes." The policeman went towards Alex and grabbed him.
"What are you doing?! You can't take him!" I screamed. No.. he can't take him away from me.
He ignored me.
"Ryan, we need to separate them. Go with the girl to the children's center around the corner. I will take the car and will find another one."
(Ryan is the other policeman)
"Got it."
"Ave, it's gonna be okay, I promise." Alex smiled at me.
How it would be okay? They are separating us..
I shaked my head.
"NO! YOU CAN'T DO THIS!" I started screaming and crying. No no no no. It can't be happening.
"Shut up." I didn't even realize when he grabbed me. I tried to free myself from his grip. Maybe try to run. Nothing worked. Me and Alex shared our last eye contact. I will miss him.
