With an immediate signal,
The feet sprinted, as fast as they could.
My parched throat breathed recklessly,
Needless to remark, the initiation was good.
Enthusiasm and vigor rose up,
My pace overexerting and surpassing the limits.
Accelerating increment in determination and self-esteem,
But gradually the speed, tapering down from hits.
The endless route of the track exasperated me,
The body exhaustion was excruciating.
Dizziness was gradually overcoming my mind,
Which made me even harder to breathe, and panting.
My deceitful legs and brain failed to support me,
And right away that moment, I passed out.
But it was no need to worry or wake up anymore,
For my determination to cross the finish line didn't black out.
