"AURORA, update me on Eric's vitals," Kelly called out loudly as she emerged from her bedroom.

"Eric had a body temperature of 100.4 degrees Fahrenheit at five this morning, but now his temperature is 98.6 degrees Fahrenheit. His pulse rate is 100-110 beats per minute, respiratory rate is 20-25 breaths per minute, blood pressure is 100-125 mmHg, oxygen saturation is 85-95%, and his cough was less than yesterday," AURORA reported in a plain tone.

"Hmm... Eric is showing improvement, and I must say that since you started monitoring him, he's been making gradual progress," Kelly said cheerfully as she rolled her hair into a bun and secured it with a hairpin.

"The clean environment of Windham and the sterilized air in this house are helping Eric regain his health," AURORA responded.

In addition to being a good assistant and an excellent listener, AURORA was also a proficient speaker who knew how and what to communicate at the right times. The marvels of modern science were truly remarkable.

"AURORA, please wake up Anna and ask her to get ready. We need to go shopping for her school," Kelly said, heading towards the kitchen on the ground floor.

She was confident that now AURORA wouldn't let Anna sleep another moment, as its speakers would keep calling her name until she woke up. Kelly crossed the living room and entered the kitchen, which was bathed in daylight.

The house had two floors and was quite spacious. On the ground floor, there were two bedrooms, one guest room, a living room, and a kitchen. On the first floor, there were three bedrooms, a study room, and a large terrace, along with a medium-sized living room.

The architecture incorporated so many windows throughout the house that during the daytime, there was no need to switch on any artificial lights; the house was always illuminated by daylight. Additionally, the house boasted a wonderful ventilation system. When Kelly saw its photos, she instantly asked the broker to book it for her.

"Anna has been awakened and she's gone to take a shower," AURORA's voice emanated from the speakers in the kitchen.

"OK... please ask Eric to come outside and have breakfast with us,"

Kelly said, turning toward the stove. She was going to make pancakes and a milkshake for Anna, and sausages with bran bread for Eric.

A few minutes later, Kelly emerged from the kitchen and asked, "AURORA, could you please tell me if it's going to rain today?"

"Today's weather will be dry and cold, so you'll need to put on an extra layer before going out," AURORA promptly responded.

"What do I have scheduled for today?" Kelly asked as she set the breakfast on the dining table, which was positioned just outside the kitchen.

"You have to take Eric for his routine check-up, and then at 11:00 AM, you have a meeting with Mr. Singhania of Glamor and Grace Store. After that, you planned to take Anna out for a shopping spree," AURORA replied in an automated tone.

Kelly was listening to AURORA when Hugo suddenly appeared from behind and started barking. The dog looked around, clearly not in a good mood.

"What's wrong, Hugo?" Kelly turned towards Hugo and used her arm to calm the stressed-out dog.

"I think you're not used to this voice and its presence in our house," Kelly said in a light tone.

"But, Hugo, you need to understand that AURORA is now part of our family, and we need it. You should get used to it," Kelly added in a polite tone.

Hugo sat near Kelly's feet and lowered its head. It seemed the dog was feeling relaxed in Kelly's presence, but AURORA's loud voice often stressed it out.
