A month passed since I got accepted into Weslyn high. I talk with my family during my free time. I've gotten pretty close to my roomies and their friends. I got to know that Nisha and Geordie likes each other a lot but Nisha doesn't want to break girl code with Sutton who has a crush on the same guy while Geordie has the sick believe of being incapable of falling in love.

I got into the track team.

" What's up with you and Alexis?" Angelina, Lynn's twin asked. We are alone in the girls locker room. She used her telekinesis to bring a water bottle close to her. I've never had a conversation with her and the first thing she says is this?

" None of your business." I walked towards the door.

" Watch your back." She used her Weslyn to slam the door inches away from my face. " Oops I meant your front." She giggled. I glared at her. " You're treading on thin ice, be careful."

I met jai on my way out. He always drives me to my dorm after practice especially since he is also in track. I've gotten close to him. Both him and Alexis.

" Oh my gawd. This milkshake tastes great. You're right, you do have good taste." I moaned.

" I'm always right." He joked. We fell into silence. I then remembered something I've always wanted to ask him.

" You still haven't told me why you are a single weslyn with double affinity." He didn't answer me. I was really curious so I probed more. " Is it just you or did you get it from your parents?" He gripped the steering wheel harder. Way to spoil the mood Serina. He reached my dorm. I quickly said a bye and alighted.

" Serina.."

" Shh, you don't have to talk. When you're ready I'll always be here. Just know that you can trust me." I gave him a small smile. He kissed my forehead. He has a habit of doing that lately.

" Thanks. And it's just me."
