SUMMARY:
Keket Khaldun had always been terrified of Vampires and werewolves ever since she first read about them when she was a young child.
And when she came face to face with them in real life, she was completely frozen in fear.
Thankfully, her best friend came to her rescue, Matt Donovan.
When she was reassured that her friends, that were vampires, were harmless, she decided to read up on them once more. On how to kill one, just in case that anything went wrong and she would be in danger.
Jeremy Gilbert thought that was stupid for doing so.
He wanted to become a vampire himself, so when he discovered her secret that she was learning how to kill one, it angered him. His sisters boyfriend was a vampire as was that guys brother. His sister became a vampire. As did a lot of his friends.
So when he saw her sharpening a wooden stake, he was almost tempted to grab it and stab her in the heart with it, to see how she liked it. But he knew that he couldn't. It wouldn't be right. She was allowed to be scared.
He was too. He knew that he couldn't blame her for her fear. He hoped to make her less scared of his friends and his sister.
Turns out that he didn't need to. Because Keket decided that whilst they may be able to kill her in the blink of an eye, they were friends. And she would do her best to help and protect them. Even as a human.
That was what made Jeremy Gilbert fall in love with her.

DETAILS:
Keket Khaldun is Egyptian and her first language is Arabic.
You can make the story as long as you want to.
Matt Donovan is her best friend and she gets along well his sister too. She doesn't like Tyler Lockwood, but is friendly with his Uncle Mason.
Elena will be the one to get through to her, they will get along well. Caroline will one of her closest friends, and once she turns her humanity off, she secretly meets up with Keket.
Bonnie will find out from Keket's memory that her father was a turned vampire, telling her his stories when she was a child. Being the cause of her fear.
Keket loves the color silver, her favorite animal is a wolf, even though she's scared of werewolves, and her favorite food is pizza.
Her nicknames are Ke and Keke.
Jeremy will fall in love with her after he notices how she's trying to protect her Vampire friends despite being scared of them. But at first he will be mad and angry with her for wanting to learn how to kill them.
Klaus finds her cute, since he can tell how scared she is of them. He will offer to make her not scared (turning her) but she refuses.
She was friends with Lexi, since Lexi was nice to her. (She didn't know that lexi was a vampire.)
