As Momo sat in her dimly lit room, the memories washed over her like a gentle tide, each wave pulling her deeper into a time when everything felt simpler. Back in their early debut years, TWICE was a whirlwind of excitement and chaos. The long hours, the intense training, the constant performances—it was all a blur of sleepless nights and relentless schedules. But through it all, there was Mina, always a steady presence in Momo's life.

The flashback unfolded like a movie, transporting Momo back to a particular night during their first year after debut. They had just finished a grueling promotion schedule, a whirlwind of interviews, variety shows, and live performances that left them all exhausted. Momo, in particular, had pushed herself to the brink, pouring every ounce of energy she had into their performances. But as the adrenaline faded, she felt the weight of exhaustion settle heavily on her shoulders.

The other members had retired to their rooms, but Momo found herself unable to sleep. She lay in bed, staring at the ceiling, her mind racing as her body begged for rest. Just when she thought she might break under the weight of it all, there was a soft knock at her door.

"Momo?" Mina's voice was barely audible, but it sent a rush of warmth through Momo. She swung her legs over the side of the bed and opened the door, revealing Mina, who stood there with a concerned expression, her hair slightly tousled from sleep.

"Mina, what are you doing up?" Momo asked, forcing a smile despite her fatigue.

"I couldn't sleep either," Mina replied, stepping into the room. "I thought you might be awake. You look really tired."

Momo chuckled softly, feeling the corners of her mouth lift. "You think?"

Mina walked over to the small kitchenette in the corner and grabbed a couple of water bottles. "Here. You need to stay hydrated. You pushed yourself a lot today."

Momo accepted the bottle gratefully, taking a long sip as she leaned against the wall. "I just... wanted to give it my all, you know? I don't want to let the team down."

Mina looked at her, her expression softening. "You're not letting anyone down. We're all in this together. But you need to take care of yourself, too. If you're exhausted, you can't give your best."

Momo nodded, the weight of Mina's words sinking in. She had always admired how Mina seemed to balance everything with such grace, her calm demeanor a soothing balm on Momo's frayed nerves. It was moments like these that had drawn Momo closer to her, making her realize just how integral Mina had become in her life.

"You know," Momo said, her voice quiet as she looked down at the water bottle in her hands. "I don't know what I would do without you. You always know how to pull me back when I'm about to lose it."

Mina smiled, a soft blush creeping onto her cheeks. "I'm just doing what friends do. We have to look out for each other."

Momo chuckled, a lightness spreading through her. "Yeah, but you're more than just a friend. You're like... my anchor. When everything gets crazy, you're always there to keep me grounded."

Mina's eyes sparkled with a mix of surprise and affection. "I feel the same way. You bring so much energy and fun to our group. It's hard not to feel better when you're around."

As the conversation continued, Momo opened up more about her fears and struggles with their newfound fame. Mina listened intently, her gaze unwavering, and for the first time, Momo felt truly seen. It was as if she could lay her burdens down without fear of judgment.

"Sometimes I wonder if I'm good enough," Momo confessed, her voice barely above a whisper. "What if I mess up? What if I disappoint everyone?"

Mina reached out, placing a comforting hand on Momo's shoulder. "You are more than enough. You bring so much joy to our fans and to us. Remember that."

Their eyes locked, and for a moment, the world around them faded. The exhaustion and the chaos of their lives slipped away, leaving only the warmth of their connection. It was a moment Momo would cherish forever, the bond between them solidifying in that instant.

The days turned into months, and the late-night talks and shared laughter became a ritual. Momo found solace in Mina's presence, and she began to lean on her more, letting her guard down in ways she hadn't done with anyone else. They shared secrets, fears, and dreams, their friendship deepening with every shared moment.

One evening, after a particularly exhausting day filled with practice, Momo found herself once again sitting in Mina's room. They were sprawled on the floor, surrounded by snacks and laughter, reminiscing about their early days of training.

"Do you remember when we first started practicing 'Like OOH-AHH'?" Momo laughed, her cheeks flushed with mirth. "I kept tripping over my own feet!"

Mina giggled, her eyes sparkling with memories. "I thought you would never get it! But look at you now—you're one of the best dancers in the group!"

Momo felt her heart swell at the compliment, her admiration for Mina growing even more. "It's because you never gave up on me. You always encouraged me."

As they shared stories and laughter late into the night, Momo felt an undeniable pull toward Mina—a connection that went beyond friendship. But she buried those feelings deep, afraid to disrupt the harmony they had built together.

But as the years went on, Momo's feelings for Mina only intensified, intertwined with their shared experiences and memories. And every moment spent together became a thread that wove them closer, despite the constant tension that lingered beneath the surface.

Now, as Momo sat in her room, the memories flooding back with bittersweet clarity, she realized how much Mina had meant to her—how integral she had become to her heart and her life. But the distance that had grown between them felt insurmountable, a chasm filled with unsaid words and unacknowledged feelings.

Momo knew that she needed to confront her feelings, to find a way to bridge the gap that had formed during their silence. But as she lay in the dark, she couldn't shake the fear that the connection they had built might not be strong enough to survive the truth. The past echoed in her heart, a reminder of the bond they had forged, and she desperately wanted to reclaim that closeness once more.

With a sigh, Momo closed her eyes, hoping that when the morning light broke, it would bring her the courage to confront her heart—and the strength to fight for the person who had become her anchor.
