It was very rare that Ben ever saw Nevaeh completely stressed or exhausted, the first and only time having been during Sophomore year when she overworked herself and missed lunch and dinner, almost passing out had the prince not brought her something to eat.
It was currently a weekend as Ben sat in his office, soon letting out a sigh as he signed the last document of what was only half of the thick stack he had originally started with. Leaning back against his chair, he let his eyes close momentarily and when he reopened them, they landed on a picture frame of his beautiful girlfriend, smiling at the camera. Feeling himself smile, he picked up his phone and began to dial her number, getting out of his chair to stretch his legs in the process. It only took a single ring before she picked up.
"A phone call from the king himself? Oh my, to what do I owe the pleasure?" Nevaeh's teasing voice spoke from the other line.
"I can't just call to hear your beautiful voice?" He asked.
"Oh, you can." Nevaeh replied.
"Anyway, I was wondering if you'd be interested in having a beach day?" Ben asked.
"With our friends or alone?" Nevaeh questioned, her voice having hints of a flirtatious tone. Ben chuckled.
"With our friends this time, but next time, alone for sure." He responded, his own voice going a little lower towards the end.
"Mhmm, I'll hold you to that, beasty. But yes, a beach day sounds lovely. We can have food, music, games, and a bonfire to end the day! Oh, and it could be a nice experience for Sheriya." The teen princess beamed.
"How is she handling things by the way?" Ben inquired, interested in the little girl who his girlfriend viewed as a sister.
"I've been trying to help ease this transition for her as much as I can. I just hope it's enough." Nevaeh confessed softly.
"I know, my love. You're doing a great job, she's lucky to have you." Ben stated, his words offering her comfort.
"Thank you, mon roi. So, I'll send out the invites and let everyone know what to bring. Does 12:30 pm sound like a good time?" Nevaeh asked, already getting to work on making the invite list.
"Yeah, that works. Alright, I'll see you then." Ben said and after hearing his girlfriend's voice say bye, he hung up.

*Nevaeh's POV*
Putting my phone down, a smile on my face, I continued to work on those invitations when a sudden knock was heard from my door. Turning to face it, a smile formed on my face upon seeing Sheriya pop her head inside.
"Whatcha doing?" She sang, making her way inside my room and plopping herself in the window nook.
"I'm making invitations for today's beach party." I replied, gesturing to my laptop where I had Casta pulled up.
"Do I get to come?" She asked, her voice sounding hopeful. I quickly finished sending out the invites before I got up from my chair and went to her, pulling her up by her hands.
"Of course! You'll love it, hopefully. There'll be music, games, and food. The beach is so nice and clean." I smiled softly, internally remembering how parts of the beach on the Isle would have broken glass or other pieces of trash on it.
"That does sound fun, but...will everyone there just be your age?" She voiced, sounding hesitant.
"Not all of us." I shook my head before continuing. "C.J will be there, girl hasn't stopped visiting the beach since she got to Auradon," I giggled, mentioning the young pirate, making her smile. "But some of my friends have siblings that are your age, if you're okay with meeting them." I finished.
