Yehoshua drifted into an uneasy sleep that night, his heart weighed down by the burdens of the day. In the stillness of his mind, a vivid dream unfolded, drawing him into a realm that felt both ancient and eternal. The air hummed with an electric tension, and the sky above was split in two: one half aflame, the other bathed in a soothing light.

Standing amidst this surreal battlefield were two towering figures. Their identical appearances marked them as twins, but their opposing auras made them feel worlds apart. One radiated a fiery rage, his crimson eyes blazing with hatred; the other glowed with an ethereal calm, his golden eyes brimming with compassion. Yehoshua instinctively knew their names: Zekarias and Ezana.

The Path of Wrath

Zekarias's voice boomed like rolling thunder, his words dripping with venomous conviction. "Our father's blood cries out from the ground! Our people's chains remain in the echoes of time! The white race is a plague, a curse upon this earth. I will burn their legacy to ash, every last one, and avenge the suffering of our ancestors!"

He raised his hands, and a tempest of fire surged from his palms, scorching the battlefield. The flames twisted and roared, conjuring images that hung in the air like ghosts: the harrowing cries of enslaved men and women, lynchings under moonlit skies, and the unyielding grip of systemic oppression. The weight of these horrors bore down on Yehoshua, who stood paralyzed as Zekarias's rage threatened to consume everything.

The Path of Peace

Ezana stepped forward, his presence like a balm against the searing heat. His voice, calm yet resolute, cut through the chaos. "Brother, your rage will not bring justice. It will only deepen the wounds of our people. Hatred begets hatred, and vengeance is a poison that will destroy not only them but us as well. I choose the path of love and peace, to heal rather than harm."

With a gentle wave of his hand, Ezana conjured a radiant light that pushed back the inferno. The air cooled as the images around him shifted: people of all colors working together, laughter shared between children, and communities thriving in unity. His words resonated like a hymn of hope.

"Love?" Zekarias spat, his voice laced with disdain. "Do you think love will undo centuries of pain? You are weak, Ezana. Weak and blind to the truth. You will never understand what it means to fight for our people!"

A Witness to the Conflict

Yehoshua found himself drawn closer to the center of the battlefield, his heart aching as the brothers' opposing forces tugged at his soul. He saw flashes of his own life woven into their struggle: the isolation of being misunderstood in his so-called family, the sting of racism at school and home, and the lingering questions about his place in a world that seemed to shun him. He wanted to speak, to bridge the chasm between them, but his voice faltered, trapped in the weight of his emotions.

Ezana turned, his golden eyes meeting Yehoshua's. They were filled with an understanding that pierced through Yehoshua's doubt. "You have a choice, young one. The world will test you, as it has tested us. Will you carry the burden of hatred, or will you walk the path of love and forgiveness?"

The Final Blow

The tension reached its zenith as Zekarias roared in defiance and lunged at Ezana. Their powers clashed in a blinding collision of fire and light, the force of their battle shaking the very fabric of the dream. Yehoshua shielded his eyes as the battlefield became a storm of energy, each brother pushing the other to their limits.

With a final, mournful cry, Ezana summoned all his strength and overpowered Zekarias. He reached out, and six orbs of light emerged from Zekarias's body, each glowing with a fragment of his fractured soul. Tears streamed down Ezana's face as he spoke, his voice heavy with sorrow. "I cannot destroy you, brother. But I cannot allow you to destroy the world."
