Chapter 6: The Fourth Archangel's visit
As Rona's spirit began to ascend, a dark presence intervened. The fourth archangel, Lucifer, the first fallen angel, appeared before her.
"Rona, your journey is far from over," Lucifer said, his voice dripping with malice. "Your zeal was misguided, but your pride and self-righteousness were far greater sins."
Lucifer grasped Rona's spirit, pulling her down into the depths of hell.
"Let us revisit the Garden of Eden," Lucifer sneered. "Where Eve's mistake began humanity's downfall."
Rona found herself standing beside Eve, watching as the serpent tempted her to eat the forbidden fruit.
"See, Rona, Eve's error was not so different from yours," Lucifer said. "Both of you allowed pride and ambition to cloud your judgment."
As Eve took a bite of the apple, Rona felt a strange connection to the ancient sin.
"Your mistakes, Rona, have been many," Lucifer continued. "You judged others, ignored the needs of those around you, you had manipulated others to fuel your own ambition - using Scripture to control and dominate, you prioritized your own righteousness above all else, you've caused division and strife within the church,
you've driven away those seeking spiritual guidance, and you've crushed the spirits of those who dared to disagree with you."
With each word, Rona felt the weight of her errors pulling her down.
"The Rich Fool's complacency, Nebuchadnezzar's pride, and the Pharisee's self-righteousness - all these sins and more have you committed," Lucifer accused.
Rona's spirit sank deeper into the darkness, the heat of hell's flames engulfing her.
"Your zeal was a mask for your own flaws," Lucifer declared. "And now, you shall face the consequences."
As Rona's screams echoed through the underworld, Lucifer's voice whispered in her mind, "You should have learned from your journeys, Rona. Now, you'll join the countless others who failed to heed the lessons of the past."
The darkness consumed Rona, and her spirit was lost to the depths of hell.
