JOSIE

It's Monday morning and my alarm goes off. Sun hitting my eyes through the open curtain. I groan not wanting to wake up. I hate Mondays, why does there have to be school on Mondays?

I extended my arm out as I reached out to grab my phone on the nightstand next to my bed. The light shined bright in my face, clicking the stop button on my alarm and placing it back down on my bed.

"5 more minutes," I mumbled, closing my eyes. Only for my second alarm to go off.

I finally leaned up from bed and turned my alarm off. "Why did I put another alarm?" I groaned, brushing my hand through my messy hair.

I stayed there as I tried to keep my eyes open. I'm back to school after our Thanksgiving break. It was nice while it lasted but now I have to go back and be a student.

Lifting my blanket off me and finally stood up from my bed yawning as I stretched my arms out making my back crack. I made my way to the restroom and turned on the water. I hate morning showers but last night I didn't go back to sleep till 2 in the morning because I tagged along with Savannah to a concert and it didn't end till 1 and on the way back it took us an hour.

I walked out of the restroom to my closet, picking out my clothes for today. It was cold today so I chose something that will keep me warm. I laid my clothes down on my bed and headed off to the shower. I came out of the shower with my robe and went to my vanity.

I tapped my phone making it turn on the screen as the time read 7:24. My classes don't start for another 2 hours.

I removed the towel around my head as my hair fell to my side. Grabbing the brush on my desk and passing it through my hair untangling the knots.

My phone rang beside me, seeing Savannah's name appear on my screen. I answered as I continued brushing my hair.

"Good morning girly, how's your morning." She gushed out.

"How are you so cheerful right now? It's so early."

"Well because he posted us in his story, girl. I can't believe he knows who I am, he knows I exist" She squealed.

I rolled my eyes as I continued to get ready. For the next couple of minutes, she kept talking about the concert as if I wasn't there with her.

"Hey, have you spoken to Isabell at all?" Savannah questioned minutes later.

Our friend group is based on me, Savannah, and Isabell. Both me and Savannah are best friends while Isabell is just our friend who we met throughout our school years. Me and Savannah have been best friends since elementary. Isabell would be considered the school's it girl even though our school is quite large she is known by everyone. Savannah has been disliking her saying how she's giving her a vibe like she's using us or well me. I keep telling her that she isn't, she just doesn't spend a lot of time with us and we've only known her for a few years.

I shook my head. "No, have you?"

She scoffs. "I barely like her and you expect me to talk with her?"

"Then why are you wondering?" I shook my head.

"Well, I was just wondering if she did as she claimed she was going to do. Didn't she say we were going to have a 'friends-giving' last time?"

"She did but she probably was busy with her family or had other plans." I shrugged.

"Whatever." she signed. "Oh, my god girl, it's almost time I'll meet you there. Finish getting ready." She said,

I checked the time on my phone showing that it was almost nine so I agreed with her and finished getting ready. I quickly rushed downstairs with my backpack and my phone to get something to eat as I hadn't eaten.
