The car ride was really silent, Yana was surely awkward with the current tension.
She saw how focused Mac is, her eyes are furrowing and hands are tightly gripped on the wheel.
She gulped and faced the window, seeing the lights and people walking in the sidewalk. Just on time, a fast-food restaurant was near, she explicitly licked her lips.
Tangina, gutom na gutom na ako. Kunting tiis na lang malapit na kami sa condo huhu.
She was taken back to reality when she heard clicking of the signal lights and the turning of the car.
"Let's eat before going home and don't worry it's on me." Mac said before Yana could utter a word.
"Thank you." Yana muttered, Mac hummed in response.
Mac parked the car properly and went out from the driver seat. Yana unbuckled the seat belt and was about to open the door when Mac was the one who opened the door for her.
Pota. Star, ang swerte mo girl! Napa gentlewoman naman ito, check na agad sa checklist ni Star!
"Tara." Yana smiled and lead the way.
"You order anything, I'll get the combo, here's my card. I'll be looking a table for us." Mac stated and handed Yana her card.
"Okay."
The line was not that long but her tummy was really hungry, she licked her lips and eyes are really focused on the counter.
Finally after the great war of waiting, Yana is now done giving her order to the crew. She happily skipped and looked for Mac.
Mac was busy on her phone, calling someone. But her eyes are roaming around, probably waiting for Yana.
When their eyes met, Mac smiled and waved her hand, calling that she was seated there.
The scene feels like the girlfriend waiting for her girl and smiles at her when she finally saw here in the crowd.
Teka beh, nasa kdrama ata ako ngayon.
"Order is placed na kapitana." Yana said and placed the beeper on their table.
"Then let's wait for it. Anyways, I'll hang up now, bro." Mac said on the phone and ended it. She placed her phone aside and faced Yana who was looking around.
"You look like a lost puppy." Mac thinly smiled and leaned back.
"So cute ako tingnan?"
"Did I say something that you are cute?"
"Sabi mo, mukhang puppy ako. Puppies are cute, so I am cute." Yana cleverly said and smiled.
"Wow you're theories are incredulous." Mac sarcastically said.
"Oo alam ko talaga na cute ako tas maganda pa, edi full package hays. Swerte naman ng maging asawa ko." Mac snorted and shook her head.
"Anyways, I heard from my friend that we have an outing for the law students, isn't that right?"
"Ah oo, together with the block C and D."
