Silence and breaths.
That's the only thing Yana could hear, but her eyes are already widen from surprise by the person in front of her.
"Yana."
"M-Mac, bakit ka nandito, basang-basa ka pa." Yana stuttered as she analyzed the said woman's wet body.
"I want to talk to you." Mac gulped and breathed out heavily.
"Mamaya na, magbihis ka muna doon, magkakasa-"
"I love you, Yana." Mac blurted out.
Yana was surely caught off guard by the sudden confession Mac has said.
But deep inside, she wasn't sure if Mac is just not feeling well or being sincere, well she hoped that the latter really do mean it.
"Mac, hindi tayo makikipagbiruan dito. Bumalik ka na doon sa date niyo ni Star."
"Yana, listen."
"Tama na, Mac. Please lang, ayokong nasasaktan at pati si Star."
"Yana, please just listen to m—"
"Tama na sabi! Ano pa ba gusto mong sasabihin at marinig?! Oo, gusto kita, ginusto kita pero gusto ka rin ng kaibigan ko!" Yana outbursted, tears started to flow on her cheeks.
This made Mac went quiet, trying to comprehend what Yana have said.
"Bumalik ka na doon." Yana sniffed as she wiped her tears and slowly closed the door but Mac's hand stopped it.
"Yana, walang date na naganap."
"Ikaw yung nag aya sa kanya, huwag mo na iden—"
"I didn't ask her out to a date, instead a formal dinner because I have to talk to her about something." Mac paused as she stared into Yana's eyes.
"And that something is about you. Yana, mahal kita at ikaw yung gusto ko." Mac seriously said.
The girl in front of her was just standing, not knowing what to say or would she even believe what Mac have said.
"Yana, you're the one whom I like, not Star. Hindi maling akala yung nakikita mo sa mga actions ko, I mean all of those." Mac smiled and gently held Yana's hand with her shaking and wet one.
She slowly placed it on her chest, Yana felt Mac's wet clothes on her hand but that's not all.
She can feel the fast heartbeat thumping on her palm.
"Mac..."
"Yana, the night when I was drunk, I remembered every single detail of what happened that night." Mac lightly squeezed Yana's hand on hers.
"You were the one whom I have chosen from the very start, not Star. Maybe you thought that I had grown feelings on Star during the time we were together?" She shook her head and cracked into a small smile as she stared into Yana's brown orbs.
If Mac would be honest, she would have already confessed and court the girl in front of her.
But how could she say no to this woman when Yana offered her to cupid her and Star.
