Riddian POV
All I hear are the laughing screams from Joker and the wind whistling past my ears as we fall further towards his watery grave. I plant the tracker on Joker's chest and kick him off me. Before we hit the water the bomb makes contact with Joker, forcing me back a few 100 metres away and then flipping along the surface before sinking slowly to the bottom of the water.
A hand pulls me up by the collar, but as I feel the cold break of the surface my brain is already starting to shut down. My head lolls back as I am carried up and away from the waves. The air and water in my lungs finally preventing my last breathe.

Jon's head rises over the cliff's edge, but no one seems to notice. That is until I see the red and black mass dripping wet in his grasp. "Riddian..."
I run over to where he places her on the ground along with the others. "Is she alive?"
"Barely," I place my ear to her chest, "she's not breathing and her heart has stopped, yet, there is still life. It is weak but it is there."
Damnit! I start to perform CPR on her. Anything to save her life is worth it in the end.

Robin POV
It wasn't long until Bruce got a steady rhythm going, but he wasn't going to stop. Not until he saw a sign, anything! I sat beside him with my holographic bracelet monitoring his every beat. "It's working! Her vital signs are rising ever so slightly. Don't stop, we need her to do this fully on her own."

Riddian POV
I want to let go, but something is keeping me down. My sight is filled with white light and I'm standing in a bright room. A tall lanky man stands opposite me, facing in the other direction,
"Dad?" He turns to face me with a glimmer of proudness in his eyes.
"Hey kiddo."
"Where am I?" He looks to the floor and sighs.
"Not where you're suppose to be." I look down with him and notice that the floor is as clear as glass, but what lies beneath it is what makes my heart sink.
My body lays lifeless on the ground as Bruce starts to do CPR. "Why are you showing me this? Aren't I safe up here?"
"Yes and no. You see my child, you have not yet fully lived enough to die. You still have a destiny to fulfil." I look into his sparkling eyes and smile weakly.
"What about you though? Why are you being so nice to me all of a sudden?" He averts my gaze and clasps his hands behind his back.
"Because I have finally come to terms with your strength and determination. I always thought that you were weak and unworthy. But you have truly outdone yourself, and I am proud to call you my daughter."
I smile widely at him as my vision flickers. "I think you have to go now young one, your friends are waiting."
I run to him and embrace him in a tight hug. "Thank you father, for everything."
"Go Riddian, be the hero you need to be." A searing white light covers my mind and I cough vigorously, water pouring out of my lungs.
I turn my head so that it doesn't come back onto my face. Once I can breathe I take big breathes and open my eyes. Bruce sits me up and holds my shivering body close.
"So c-cold..." I try to make flames but they just turn to steam and evaporate into thin air.
"Don't worry I've got you." Bruce whispers. His voice is soothing and his hot breathe in my ear warms my face ever I slightly. Conner knees down and takes my hand.
"How the hell did you survive to blast?" I smile up at him.
"You can fight fire with fire but the one with the most control will always come out on top."
"Wise words from a girl who can melt the hearts of many." M'Gann kneels next to Connor and giggles.
"Thank you M'Gann." A cold shiver spirals through my body and I tense all my muscles. Everyone stared on worriedly as Bruce picks me up.
"Let's get you home."
And that's how I became
