Garcia began to tell them that a six-year-old girl had disappeared in a shopping center. They asked if the authorities could take care of it, but apparently, weeks before, another girl of the same age had also disappeared and had been found dead.

"How long has she been missing?" asked JJ.

"An hour. We just got the call," answered Garcia.

"We're flying in half an hour. Get everything ready," Cora nodded, getting up to pack everything necessary for the case.

Once on the plane, they began to review the case. They investigated the family and they seemed very normal. A normal father, a normal mother. Nothing was out of the ordinary. The team would have a very hard time finding any clue as to what had happened.

Coraline got up to make herself a coffee, and Hotch got up to join her. She smiled at him and he stared at her, she still had the bandage from the stabbing three days ago, but her leave had already expired, so Strauss had forced her to return.

"How's your arm?"

"Well, I won't be able to play baseball for a while, but that's okay."

"I didn't know you played."

"There's a lot of things about me you don't know, Aaron." The man laughed.

"Of course not. Hey, are you and Spencer getting along better?" The girl tried to avoid the question.

"How about Jack?"

"Cora..."

"I don't know, Hotch, in the last case, we started off on the right foot, but then he got mad at me again and then he got back on good terms, and we haven't talked since, and I don't know what to think."

"We have less than three hours to find Katie Jacobs," Cora recited to the head of security. "That is if he hasn't killed her already."
