When Cora entered Quantico and saw David Rossi standing next to her desk, she dropped everything she had in her hands and ran towards him, she hugged him and he returned the gesture while putting a hand on the back of the neck of the one who had been his favorite student when he taught at the Quantico Academy.
"What are you doing here?" she asked happily.
"I work here," the Italian replied while grabbing the girl's face. "You don't know how much I like seeing you again, Picco."
"And I like that I work with you now."
"Maggie, can you introduce us to your friend?" Morgan said, causing both agents to stare at him.
"Spence, are you dressed as Frankenstein?" the genius nodded. "I won't ask any questions. This is Special Supervisory Agent David Rossi, my instructor at the academy, and the reason I became a police officer. He saved me a long time ago." Spencer looked at her, knowing what she meant.
"Mr. Rossi, it's a pleasure. I've read all your books, I find it fascinating the way you express crimes committed with metaphors."
"Hey, Reid, he's going to stay for a while, give him a break."
"Yeah, sure, sorry."
"You can talk on the jet."
"Do we have a jet now?" the older man asked Hotchner.
"Yeah, not subtle at all. Come on, JJ's waiting for us."
"Hotch, I have..."
"I know, Cora, you're staying here today."
"Oh, Picco, I thought I could see you in action."
"And you can, but not today. Sorry, nonno."
"Take that back."
"Never." They both laughed under the gaze of everyone, who didn't understand the conversation.
While the BAU was working on her case, Cora went to the Virginia prison, where Chris Tucker was, who started smiling as soon as she saw her. She shook off the chill that ran down her spine when she saw him smile at her like that.
