Early morning sunlight shone through the white curtains of a modern Los Angeles apartment, which belonged to Alex Morgan, Kelley O'Hara and Tobin Heath.
Alex and Kelley had just woken up and were now in the kitchen making breakfast.
Tobin had left hours ago to watch the sunrise on the top of some cliff, as usual.
"Did Tobin leave a note?" Kelley asked, looking through the fridge.
Alex shook her head. "No, not today. I thought she would text us or something... "
"Yeah. Weird, she usually does." Kelley replied, pulling the eggs out of the fridge.
After two hours, something didn't seem right.
"I've tried calling her ten times in the past five minutes! Why isn't she answering? She's always back by eleven!" Alex said worriedly. Kelley shrugged as they sat on the sofa, watching TV.
"Don't you have that app, like, friend's location or whatever it's called?" She turned to Alex.
"Oh yeah! Kel, you're a genius!" Alex grinned and opened up the app on her phone.
"Jeez, that's a mountain alright." Her blue eyes widened when she found Tobin's location, an hour away in the middle of nowhere, on top of a huge cliff.
"So ya found her. Can you stop being worried so we can go to Hope's house now?" Kelley nudged Alex.
"No! We're going to get her!" Alex stood up and grabbed her car keys.
Kelley rolled her eyes and they walked out to Alex's Jeep.
After the hour-long drive to the point where they couldn't drive any more, Alex parked the car on the side of the dirt road and they made their way up the rest of the mountain.
"Tobin?" Kelley yelled. No answer. "Tobin!" She yelled louder.
They waited for an answer, and finally heard a quiet cry, "Help me!"
