Requested 💕💕💕The hum of the television filled the cozy apartment that Timo Meier shared with his girlfriend, Y/N. The soft glow of the evening light seeped through the curtains, casting a warm ambiance over the room. Timo sat on the couch, scrolling through his phone, occasionally glancing at Y/N, who was curled up in the corner with a blanket draped over her. Usually, she was full of energy, laughing and joking with him, but tonight, something was different. She was quiet, distant, and the smile he loved so much was missing.
Timo set his phone down, concern etched on his face. "Babe, what's wrong?" he asked softly.
Y/N hesitated, avoiding his gaze as she played with the edge of the blanket. "Nothing," she mumbled.
Timo wasn't convinced. He moved closer, gently placing a hand on her knee. "Hey, talk to me. You know you can tell me anything."
She sighed, her eyes welling up with unshed tears. "It's stupid."
"It's not stupid if it's making you feel this way," Timo said, his voice steady and reassuring. "What's going on?"
Y/N took a deep breath. "It's the comments," she admitted, her voice barely above a whisper. "From your fans. The ones who say I'm not good enough for you. That you deserve someone prettier, someone better."
Timo's heart ached as he listened. He had seen some of those comments before, but he never realized how much they affected her. "Y/N…"
She wiped away a tear. "And sometimes, I think they're right. You're this amazing hockey player, and I'm just… me. Maybe you do deserve better."
Timo cupped her face in his hands, gently tilting her head so she was looking at him. His eyes were filled with love and concern. "Y/N, listen to me. Those people don't know you. They don't see what I see every day. You're smart, kind, and beautifulâ€"inside and out. You're everything I've ever wanted."
Her lip trembled. "But theyâ€""
"I don't care what they say," Timo interrupted gently but firmly. "You're my person. The one I come home to, the one who makes me laugh, who supports me no matter what. You make me better, Y/N. I love you for who you are, and nothing anyone says will ever change that."
Y/N sniffled, her heart swelling with love. "You really mean that?"
"Of course I do," Timo said, brushing a tear from her cheek. "You're more than enough for me. You always have been, and you always will be."
She leaned into his touch, a small smile breaking through her sadness. "Thank you, Timo. I needed to hear that."
"Anytime, love," he murmured, pressing a kiss to her forehead. "You don't have to go through this alone. If something's bothering you, talk to me. I'm here for you."
Y/N nodded, feeling a weight lift off her shoulders. Timo wrapped his arms around her, pulling her close. They stayed like that for a while, finding comfort in each other's embrace.
Eventually, Timo pulled back and grinned. "You know what? I think we need some ice cream."
Y/N laughed softly. "Ice cream? In this weather?"
"Hey, ice cream fixes everything," he said, standing up and grabbing his keys. "Come on, let's go."
They bundled up in warm coats and scarves and headed out into the crisp night air. The streets were quiet, the soft glow of streetlights reflecting off the freshly fallen snow. Hand in hand, they walked to their favorite ice cream shop, laughing and teasing each other along the way.
By the time they returned home, Y/N's spirits had lifted completely. They curled up on the couch again, this time with bowls of ice cream in hand. Timo kept her laughing with his silly jokes, and she felt a warmth in her heart, knowing how much he cared.
As the night wore on, Y/N leaned her head on Timo's shoulder, her insecurities fading away. With him by her side, she knew she was more than enough. And as Timo pressed a gentle kiss to her temple, she realized that she didn't need anyone else's validation. She had Timo's love, and that was all that mattered.
