Chapter 13 Freen's pov

AsI look at Becky, I saw tears rolling down her cheeks. I immediatelytook her in my arms and kissed the top of her head.

-I'msorry, she said softly. It's just that you did so much for me overthe years and I just wanted to do something for you. Something reallynice, I hope you'll like it.

-Ofcourse I'll like it my love, I smiled. You didn't have to do that.

Ikissed her quickly before going to greet all of our guests.

-Soyou finally told the world huh? Teased Richie who I hadn't seen in awhile.

-Whocould hide your sister? I laughed kissing his cheek. You know shecan't lie. She would have made herself very clear and would haveshown everyone that she possess me.

-Yeah,you're probably right.

AsI was talking to Faye and Yoko, I saw Becky, Heng and Namdisappearing in the corner of my eyes.

-Whatare they comploting? I asked myself.

-Youdon't know already? Asked Yoko.

Ilooked at her confused and Faye started laughing.

-Youreally are naive Nong, she said. It's a baby shower.

-Yes,and?

-What'ssupposed to happen during baby showers? She laughed even harder.

-Don'tknow. I've never been to one.

-Everyonewill know the gender of the baby, Yoko explained.

-ButI don't know the gender, I said confused.

-Beckyknows, interrupted May.

-Butshe made sure that you weren't aware of it, added Fay.

-Ireally found the one right? I smiled widely.

-Youwere the only one who didn't know, added mom who had joined us,accompanied by Becky's parents.

Everybodystarted to follow them back to where they went, and mom took my hand,leading me to the next step of my surprise. A volley field, a cake with white frosting, some lanterns withpapers for wishes and some water gun near a white long tissue who wasput on the sand.

-First,Heng interrupted my contemplation. We will need you guys to chooseyour team for the volley match.

TeamBoy was composed of Richie, my mom, Heng, Yoko, Nam, Victor, Charm,Irin, Danny, Poom and myself, in the girl team were Becky's parents,Faye, Fay, May, Pear, Ploynoy, Saint, Songjet, Kanin and Alicia. AsBecky was the only one who knew the gender, she had made herself thearbitrator.

-Now,as your arbitrator, I declare the baby shower officially opened!Smiled Becky widely.

Wewere supposed to go find our color who was hidden somewhere in thearea, put it in the water and be the team with the most color area onthe white tissue. All of it in thirty minutes tops. Of course, wewon. Then, it was the beach volley, won by the girls' team. As Ithought it was now time for the gender reveal, Becky spoke up again.

-Beforewe now announce our baby's gender, she said. I would like to make atoast for the incredible momma to be.
