And we are done with Goblet of fire, I'll admit the last few chapters were hard to work with because I kept Cedric Diggory alive — which is contrary to the books because in canon he dies in the graveyard. Up next we have Order of the Phoenix. And here's where the subarc of Uncle Vernon being sexist to Harriet, violating her for as long as she can remember and trying to get her pregnant comes to a head. Harriet will finally have evidence against him, something he can't just hand wave away. Especially amongst the Wizarding community.

Now, don't worry about how what you no doubt know is coming for our young heroine will affect the story from Half-blood Prince forward. I have been putting thought into it and have a plot plan in place, particularly with some obviously too risky to put any barely year old child through events that take place as part of the core story — looking at you battle of the seven Potters. But we'll get there, no spoilers here — only hints at something astute readers have probably already guessed were coming given how I've been building to it since Chamber of Secrets.

Plus, I kinda am going to make everyone hate Umbridge even more than they already do — if that's even possible — over the course of Order of the Phoenix. Maybe even win more characters to Harriet's side because of the events in this book. Maybe some Slytherins who aren't completely stuck up arseholes who think being pureblood is what witches and wizards should strive for.

I'll also give you all a hint, nebulous as the idea is at the point, related to Hogwarts having a "horny teenager" problem. A problem I'd wager has been present since before Tom Riddle aka Voldemort was a student there. We've seen descendants of Slytherin who didn't fit the pureblood supremacy rhetoric the rest of the family preached like it was holy gospel, perhaps you'll see another. . . .
