Leona was an... alright caregiver. Honestly he was a much better one than most would expect. Sure he had a habit falling asleep on the job, being a little lazy, and occasionally teasing and rough housing. But there wasn't any harm in any of it. Today? He had a little on his hands who was in a mood. A sassy mood that is. Ever since he'd slipped earlier he'd been a wee bit of a brat. Not that Leona minded. He just teased him for it anyways. Which again, was normal and met with an eyeroll or something along those lines.

Vil was currently a bit upset with his caregiver. He'd been falling asleep in the middle of a tea party! Which the little one insisted was quiet rude. "Papa!! Quit falling asleep!! You gotta finish playing tea party with me!" Vil huffed, crossing his arms with his brow furrowed in a pout. "I know I know... sorry kiddo. Cant we finish this up and you watch your cartoons or something? Papa is exhausted." Leona responded a bit groggily. He'd been woken up at least 3 times now. And Vil wasn't giving up. He didn't respond and just pushed a teacup towards him, Vil personally was sipping 'tea' from his sippy cup. So Leona begrudgingly continued to play tea party, chattering and pretending to eat and drink just to keep that little prince satisfied.

Alas, Leona could only play pretend for so long and inevitably dozed off again. Instead of waking him up however? Vil had his own ideas. He tidied up his tea party and headed to grab some new toys. Those being some children's makeup and hair accessories. (He'd already accidentally ruined his own makeup pallet while small before, so he never took any chances with himself.) With Vil's luck? Leona just so happened to be laying in the perfect position for Vil to play salon! He got right to work, starting with Leona's hair. That consisted of plenty of hair clips being put into it. Then some messily applied nail polish to his fingers, and last but not least some very carefully applied makeup to his face. With PLENTY of glitter. The little one was grinning from ear to ear and doing his best not to giggle too loud. But he was proud of his work. Eventually Ruggie came in to see if everything was alright. "Hey leonaaa! Everything goo-" "shhhh!!" He was cut off by Vil shushing him. And after realizing what was going on? Ruggie simply laughed and of course snapped a picture. "Seems like you've got it under control in here huh? You all good on snacks and stuff?" The hyena was sometimes like a secondary caregiver. Specifically when Leona fell asleep and the little needed something. "Nope! All good! Jus giving papa a makeover an playin salon." Ruggie nodded along with that and was on his way and out of his hair after that, leaving Vil to his own devices.

The lion got a pretty good nap in and even woke up on his own terms. There he found Vil contently watching cartoons. "You still here little one?" He sleepily asked with a stretch. That's when Vil remembered what he'd done previously. He looked over and instantly went into a fit of giggles. Leona, being confused, simply raised and eyebrow and asked "what's so funny?" "Look in the mirror! You look like a Princess!!" He continued to giggle. Leona looked in the mirror and could only let out a sigh. "You're right my little beauty. I certainly do look like a Princess don't I? Did you do this?" Vil grinned that little devilish grin of his. And Leona clearly took it as a yes. "Well. I'm not mad. But you know who may be a little cranky about it? The tickle monster!!" The little let out a playful scream and Leona tickled him and ruffled his hair. There was the rough housing. But vil definitely loved it sometimes. It just tended to make things more fun.
