It was another strenuous day of training in the dojo, with more sparring. Y/N was sitting next to Tory, watching Miguel and Hawk spar. The two boys moved fast, exchanging quick, aggressive moves. It was hard to tell who had the upper hand.

Hawk was about to land a swift kick when the door swung open and a man stormed in, stopping him in his tracks. He appeared to be around the same age as Johnny, with tan skin and dark brown hair.

"What the hell do you think you're doing?" Johnny demanded as the man glared at him.

"Like you don't know." the man snapped back.

"Take your shoes off the mat." Johnny said to him. "You're disrespecting the dojo."

Y/N looked at the others. They seemed to have no clue what the argument was about. Kreese was watching the whole thing with a mildly entertained look on his face.

Y/N turned to Tory. "What the hell is going on?" she asked her.

"I have no idea." Tory replied. "Who is this guy?"

"You're really going to talk me about disrespecting dojos after what you just did to mine?" the man yelled at Johnny.

"I don't know what the hell you're talking about." Johnny said, completely bewildered. "I didn't do anything to your dojo."

"Just like you didn't slug one of my employees?" the man replied furiously. Y/N looked at Tory. She didn't seem too perturbed by the idea that Johnny got into fights outside of the dojo. Y/N didn't know why she was so surprised at hearing about their Sensei getting into a fight. It was quite obvious that he was the type to do so.

"You know, part of me actually felt bad for you at one point." the man continued. "But you make it so easy to remember who the bad guy is in all of this. You call yourself a sensei? You don't know what a sensei is. A sensei mentors and elevates. He doesn't teach destruction and disrespect!"

Johnny stepped closer to the man and Y/N wondered if he was about to punch the living daylights out of him. "I already said I don't know what you are talking about, LaRusso." he said grimly. "And you don't know what you're talking about either."

"Ohh. He's related to our friend Sam." Tory said in a light, sarcastic voice. "Figures."

"Well, I know you don't earn a medal of honor by stealing it." Mr. LaRusso said, looking like he was about to cry. He turned to the others in the room. "Let me tell you something about your Sensei." he continued. "He might teach you how to fight, but he doesn't know a thing about what it takes to truly win in life. If you want to help yourself before its too late, come to Miyagi Do."

Y/N felt fury rise up within her so quickly it caught her off guard. Who did this man think he was, and where did he get the audacity to come in here? His high-and-mighty attitude reminded her very much of Sam's, right down to accusing people of stealing.

Tory looked equally furious as well. "Now we know where Sam gets it from." she said, her voice dripping with so much venom that it scared Y/N for a moment.

"You think you can come in here and poach my students?" Johnny said angrily.

"And what are you going to do about it?" Mr. LaRusso taunted him. "You know I'm not going to strike first."

Johnny scowled at him and for a second, Y/N was sure that Johnny was really going to strike him. But instead, he took a step back.

"I'm going to be the bigger man." Johnny answered.

"Yeah, we'll see about that." Mr. LaRusso scoffed. He turned and left, letting the door slam behind him.

A student named Chris grabbed his backpack from near the wall, slung it over his shoulder and walked to the door. "Where do you think you're going?" Johnny asked him.

"What the hell, Chris?" Mitch exclaimed.

"I never liked it here." Chris replied.

Tory shook her head, her face flushed and hot with anger. "Pussies." she said bitterly.

"I can't believe it either." Y/N agreed. "First Sam tries to start things with you, and now Mr. LaRusso with Cobra Kai? They've got it out for us."

"That's why we have to strike first." Tory replied. "That's why we have to fight for what's ours. Every last bit of it."

Y/N suddenly found that she agreed with Tory one-hundred percent.
