"This is so cute"I mumbled recording myself as I walked to my car.

"Hello?"I said answering Mari's FaceTime call but Naya's face popped up in the camera.

"Your hair match me! Its so pretty"She said touching the cherry bows that was in her hair as I got in my car.

"Thank you my girlll, where y'all at?"I asked dropping my water bottle in the cup holder.

"Where are we?"Naya asked Mari making me chuckle while pressing the start button before putting the car in drive.

"Wendy's"I heard him say and she repeated it.

"I took pictures, you see it?"She smiled.

"I saw it you look so cute"Naya giggled making me laugh.

"Okay give the phone to Mari"

"You look good"Mari said putting his faces in the camera and I smiled.

"Thank you, did you already order?"I asked and he shook his head no.

"Can you get me a Dave's double with Baconator fries please"I said driving out the parking lot.

"What you want to drink?"

"Pineapple mango lemonade"

"Aight, we gonna be there soon."Mari said before hanging up before I could respond.

As soon as I pulled up in my driveway my aunt called me and told me to go get Lana from Peytons house now.

"What the fuckkk" I groaned backing out the driveway.

Peyton lived two neiborhoods down from mine so I got there quickly and Lana came out the door as soon as I pulled up.

"What happened?"I asked as she handed me her phone when I drove off.

"Me and Peyton got in trouble"Lana said making me roll my eyes.

"What did yall do?"I asked and she sighed laying her head on the window.

"Her mama caught us smoking"

"You talked to auntie?"I asked shaking my head at her.

I didn't feel the need to get on her because I already know my aunt did enough.

"Mhm, she said she was gonna call you and to give you my electronics."

"You gonna be bored for the rest of the summer" I said pulling in the driveway and Mari pulled up at the same time.

"Did you eat?"I asked as we got out and she nodded going straight in the house.

"Hi"Naya said once I opened the back door of Mari's truck.

"Heyy"I said unbuckling her and taking her out.

"I'm hungry"She said as I followed behind Mari into the house.
