The city of Paris buzzed faintly beneath the evening sky, its golden lights glittering like scattered stars. A shadow lingered on the rooftops, hidden in the dark corners where no one dared to look.
A figure crouched silently, their presence masked by the hum of the night. Cloaked in a hood that obscured their features, they blended into the shadows, their sharp gaze fixed on the battle unfolding in the streets below.
Ladybug's yoyo slashed through the air, expertly deflecting the akumatized villain's attack. Beside her, Cat Noir fought with his usual mix of flair and precision, his staff spinning as he blocked a flurry of energy blasts.
"Not bad," the figure murmured to themselves, their voice barely audible over the distant chaos.
Though they kept their distance, their posture suggested familiarity-an eerie sense of knowing that went beyond mere observation. They didn't intervene, nor did they cheer for either side. They simply watched, their head tilting slightly as Ladybug's Lucky Charm appeared in a brilliant flash of red.
"She's growing stronger," they whispered, their words laced with a strange mix of approval and apprehension.
As Ladybug and Cat Noir launched their final coordinated strike, the villain's weapon shattered, and the akuma was purified in a dazzling display of light. The shadowed figure shifted slightly, their gloved fingers brushing against a small object hidden within their cloak.
"Soon," they said cryptically, retreating into the darkness as Ladybug and Cat Noir exchanged victorious grins below.
The pair stayed briefly to ensure the victim was safe, then leapt into the night, unaware of the silent witness who had been tracking their every move.

Meanwhile The soft hum of Paris's nighttime symphony lingered in the air as Alessa stood on her balcony, the faint aroma of hot chocolate still wafting from her mug. She leaned against the railing, gazing at the city lights, her thoughts drifting to Adrien's visit.
Her solitude was interrupted by a faint tap at her window. Alessa turned, her lips curling into a smile as Adrien poked his head through the slightly ajar glass, grinning sheepishly.
"Back so soon?" she teased, stepping aside to let him in.
Adrien shrugged, his golden hair slightly tousled from the wind. "What can I say? Your place is more fun than mine." He held up a small box wrapped in a bakery bag. "And I brought snacks this time-croissants and éclairs. Thought it'd make up for crashing again."
Alessa chuckled, closing the window behind him. "Bribery through food? Smart. You know my weaknesses too well."
They settled into her living room, a cozy space bathed in the warm glow of fairy lights. Alessa grabbed a blanket and tossed it over both of them as they sat cross-legged on the floor, the pastry box open between them.
"So," she began, biting into a flaky croissant, "what's the real reason you're here? Spill."
She smirked. "Again rejected?"Cat Noir perched on the edge, his expression half amused, half defeated. "How do you always know?" he asked, hopping down to take a seat across from her.
"Call it institution" she said
"So," Alessa said, breaking the quiet, "how many ways did she reject you this time?"
Cat Noir groaned, slumping back in his chair. "Oh, you know, the usual. Polite but firm. She's got someone else in her heart, yadda yadda." He let out a dramatic sigh. "I'm starting to think I'm cursed."
Alessa chuckled, leaning forward to pat his arm. "You're not cursed, just stubborn. There's a difference."
"Stubborn, huh?" He smirked, his green eyes glinting mischievously. "And what about you, Miss Perfect? Any tragic love stories to share?"
