Midnights POV
It's early, too early if you ask me.
I never get to school this early, but I promised Eve and her sister I'd take them to school, so here we are.
Besides, today I didn't exactly mind having to get out of the house early. My parents got home from their little trip last night, and they were going on and on about what a failure I am and whatnot. I learned to just kinda block them out, but their words still sting.
"Are you 100% absolutely sure you're good to go back to school today?" I asked for what must be the thousandth time in the past 7 minutes.
"For the millionth time, yes I am. I would've gone back Wednesday if someone would've let me." Folklore said, glaring at Eve.
"You were a fucking mess the last few days, I'd rather have you staying home than to get triggered and go back into the rabbit hole you were stuck in last year. That was fucking terrifying." Eve replied defensively.
"Sorry." She said whilst shrugging.
"Okay whatever. If you need anything, look for me and I'll bring you home, yeah?" I said and paused for a moment. "Not you Eve, if you need something before we meet again you're on your own."
Eve just scoffed at me. So rude, like, at least I'm doing something for her. Bitch be grateful I got up really fucking early to take you and your sister to school. To be fair, I would've brought Folklore to school anyways, just to make sure she'd be okay, but she doesn't need to know that.
We pulled up to the school as I stopped at the drop-off area.
"You guys go, I'll park the car. Folklore, if there's anything, text, call, come find me, anything. Eve I'll see you at lunch?"
"Yup, see ya." Eve said as both of them got out of the car.
Once they closed the doors, I continued to drive and find a parking spot.
I don't think it's ever been this easy, I should try coming on time more. Nah who am I kidding, less sleep isn't worth a good place to park.
I took a few deep breaths to ground myself before getting out of my car and into the school.
It's crowded, I'm not sure how I feel about that.
Although I suppose some people are more bothered by it than others. For example, I noticed Nine-no, new girl, nerd, whatever-struggling in the hallway getting from class to class at times, I don't know why.
Speaking off, I saw her standing near her locker, and I don't know why, but something in me told me to approach her to go say hi. This also never happens.
So, I did. I walked up to her and softly smacked my hand against her head. I had to uphold my reputation somehow.
"Sup, nerd."
"Could you not?"
Wow someone's grumpy. Must be the time.
"Hmmm" I put my hand on my chin 'thinking' for a moment. "Nope! This is too much fun."
She rolled her eyes at me, rude! She does that a lot.
"Those are gonna not roll back sometime, you know, you should watch out."
"You know what, I think I'll take that risk. What do you want?"
Right, should've probably thought of that.
"Oh let me think for a moment. Alcohol, mental stability-wait, alcohol can give me that. Yeah I just want alcohol."
"Well good luck with that." she said as she closed her locker door. Is she trying to get away from me?
