The evening of the party arrived. The Lim family’s mansion was already bustling with activity. Fairy lights adorned the garden, and the sound of music spilled out into the street. Guests mingled, holding drinks and appetizers, the atmosphere vibrant and electric.

Stacey stood near the entrance, greeting her guests as they arrived. She wore a sleek red dress that turned heads and carried herself with the air of someone who knew she was the center of attention.

When Aiah and Maloi stepped through the door, Stacey greeted them warmly.

“Aiah! I’m so glad you made it.” Stacey’s eyes flicked to Maloi, taking in her appearance. “And who’s this?”

“This is Maloi,” Aiah said. “She’s a friend of mine, a first-year, just transferred here from the US.”

Stacey’s smile widened. “Well, welcome, Maloi. I hope you have a great time tonight.”

Maloi nodded politely, feeling slightly out of place among the glamorous crowd.

"What the fuck" Mikha groggily sat up in her bed, her head pounding from the aftermath of last night’s wild night out.

The bass of the music from downstairs thudded through the floorboards, vibrating against her skull, only making her hangover worse.

"Great" She groaned, pulling a pillow over her face in an attempt to block out the noise, but it was no use. Stacey’s birthday party had clearly begun, and the sound of laughter, chatter, and music echoed up the stairs.

With a resigned sigh, Mikha swung her legs over the side of the bed and stumbled to her feet. Her mind was still foggy, but the alcohol had worn off enough that she could function, barely. Her gaze darted to the window, and she noticed the soft glow of the party lights spilling through the cracks in the curtains. Curiosity got the better of her.

Mikha pulled open the sliding glass door to her terrace and stepped outside, letting the cool air hit her flushed face. She leaned against the railing, rubbing her temples, trying to shake off the remnants of her hangover.

From the corner of her eye, she spotted a group of people gathered by the backyard pool. Among them were Aiah, who caught her eyes in the canteen..with the girl she had flirted with over the past few weeks..

Mikha raised an eyebrow. She thought, that girl wasn’t exactly the type to show up at parties, but what caught her attention even more was the girl beside her.

Mikha smirked, recognizing that girl as the one she had flirted with out of boredom the week before is now with the girl that caught her eyes.

“Well, this just got interesting,” Mikha muttered to herself.

She immediately took a fresh shower, and dressed up. She took a brief glance at the mirror "let's get the night sarted" she murmured, and finally making her way downstairs.

She searches the crowd, finding the girls. She glance back to the side of the pool, her gaze softening when she saw her sister with the girls, she went towards them.

Stacey's eyes widen by the sight of mikha "Oh, Mikha! Finally woke up. Come here, meet my friends!"

“Hey,” Mikha said smoothly as she approached. "Happy Birthday, my lovely sister" she greeted, hugging stacey "thanks!"

Her eyes flicked to the girls beside Stacey.

Aiah was shocked with the revelation..she had no idea, that mikha the "walking red flag" is Stacey lim's sister. No wonder, both of them are popular. Damn.
