I snuck passed the barrier to the witches side. The sound of running water was the first thing I heard, the forests was dark and by now it was dusk and the moon was taking over the sky as the sun set.
The cold October air made me shiver. I started walking forward looking around the dark forest, it felt almost empty I continued walking.
When I heard foot steps I didn't know if it was some kind of animal or maybe a person or worse a witch!
I didn't waste anytime hiding in a tree. I turned around and saw a green and red moth dragon a type of mammal dragon so instead of scales it has fer.
I looked at it for about three seconds before it stood up and stared at me and then it bit my arm scratch my legs and chest then thew me off, down from the tree I went. I didn't have any padding or anything so imagine falling from three story building that was how far the fall was.
I couldn't scream or yell that would let the witches know that I'm here. I hit the ground with a loud bang my eyes badly hovered open as I heard more foot steps I couldn't do anything but lay there.
Eventually I closed my eyes and accepted the fact that I was going to die or get captured by witches. I didn't save anyone I'm a coward, I'm useless, and I couldn't even protect my family honor I couldn't even get out of a tree when I needed to. I'm going to die alone with no one here but my own thoughts.
I thought to myself I was just laying there my blood gently forming a puddle around me, My eyes shut and fell into unconsciousness.
I opened my eyes again, was on a bed not my bed I wasn't tied down and my wounds were gently bandaged. The room was a dim yellow color with only a bed desk and a chair. I got out of the bed as I limped towards the window. Light it was day time!? How long had I been asleep, how am I even alive right now? I heard foot steps again I tried to open the window but I couldn't it was locked. The foot steps got closer and closer, the door slowly opened, I backed up again
"h-hello? " I said I was terrified.
"Oh your awake! " it was the voice of a girl about my age it sounded like. "Hello im Akari Fujino. " She said as she walked Into the room.
