"Deal."-3rd person pov-

Gem sits on one of the log seats that Shrub had, sipping some of the soup that Shrub made. Honestly Gem was pretty skeptical about it, but Shrub insisted that it was how people in her village stayed warm, and it was working, so she couldn't complain.

Gem was starting to feel better, though her steaks of white from Scott's accidental ice attack were slowly changing to a dark red.

"Oh! That's not supposed to happen.." Shrub looked at Gems hair nervously. "That definitely should happen.."

Completely oblivious to what Shrub said, Gem sits up, "thank you Shubble! The soup was wonderful, I feel great!" Gem exclaims enthusiastically,

"Yep! No problem.." Shrub responded, sounding slightly dazed.

After saying her goodbyes to Shrub, Gem started heading back to find her nether portal.

What Gem didn't notice as she left, was the strange red crystal next to Shrubs stuff, glow brightly and start to crack..

-Gems pov-

As I walk back to my portal, Shrub is now out of sight and, I feel great! Once I get back, I think I'll head to the Grimlands and show Fwhip that I didn't need to go to Katherine's!

"I feel off," I murmur, "maybe It's the after effects of warming up after being cold for so long.." As I get closer to my portal, my head starts pounding, I stumble over to my portal, and suddenly everything went black.

"Hello." Was the last thing I heard.

After some time, I opened my eyes to see I was in a box of nether blocks, like in the dream I had when Xornoth was terrorizing the server. The difference was that the pressure plate trap wasn't there.

I decided to examine the blocks more closely, noticing the small details and different shades of red.

"Red and black honestly look so nice, I wonder why I didn't think to use them before," I thought aloud, "perhaps as some accent blocks.."

After a bit, I realize I don't have my stuff, my inventory is completely empty, I don't have my staff, or sword, or anything to defend myself from whatever is happening. But weirdly enough, I feel calm, and the red blocks look so nice..

As Gem looks around, a dark figure teleports into the box, waiting for Gem to notice its presence.

"Hello GeminiTay," the voice spoke, Gem stiffens, recognizing the voice,

"Xornoth? How are you here? I trapped you!" Gem exclaims, nervously looking around, Xornoth merely laughs,

"You have much to learn if you want to do real magic, especially trying to trap me," Xornoth then steps out of the shadows, revealing himself. "You have no way to escape, so perhaps we can make a deal.."

Gem scoffs, "I don't need power or whatever is that's what you're offering."

"Ah, but in a sense, you do.. you want to keep peace in the server and yet you failed, perhaps the only way to keep the peace is to eliminate the people that ruin peace." Xornoth replied, knowing that was exactly what Gem felt her purpose was,

"And how exactly does this have to do with bribing me into joining your team?" Gem crosses her arms, glaring at Xornoth,

"Perhaps, power is what you need, even if you don't believe so, you could be the queen of the server," Xornoth replied, clearly not knowing that being a queen is what Gem detests.

"Yeah.. no, I don't want to be part of whatever insanity you're trying to do, I am not a queen I'm a wizard!"

"Well, you have much to learn still, if you want to be a proper wizard that is,"

"I am the wizard of Crystal Cliffs and I do not associate myself with black magic!" Gem snaps back,

"I am asking you to be my apprentice, I realize the wrong in my ways and want to change them, to help being peace like you wanted, it won't be dark magic I will teach you, just.. magic to enhance what you already know," Xornoth replied, pushing magic into every word to manipulate Gems mind.

Gem pauses, thinking about it, with persuasion magic in her brain, it makes it difficult to think properly..

"Deal."
