Flash forward to 2023:

Practice is boring as always, we've been doing the same things for over a year now.

A manager enters the room.

"Everyone please pay attention"

The room goes silent.

"As you already know FNC wants to debut some of you, the debut is planned for this October so you will have six more months to train"

Everyone around me looked so happy.

I hope I make it.

"It's been a hard decision for us but we will now be announcing the members"

All the girls around me started talking, I didn't talk.

I've never talked with any of the girls, I didn't wanna make friends without being sure if we were gonna debut together or not.

"Silence please" the manager yells.

"The first member of the group is going to be Jeong Sunhye"

Some girls start jumping around, happy that their friend made it.

"Then we have Noh Jiana"

Again, some girls are happy.

I am anxious.

"How many members will the group have?" A girl asked

"Six"

I freeze.

I heard about the six members curse, I don't want it to happen.

"The next member is going to be Wi Yeonjung"

I know that girl, we've talked a couple of times.

I am happy she made it but I don't say anything.

Anxiety is killing me.

Three more members to go.

I need to be in this group.

"The fourth member is Kim Doeun"

The girl starts jumping around.

"Hari Jieun is going to be the fifth member"

What??

They didn't go in age order did they?

She is 2 years younger than me.

Did I not make it?

I am about to start crying.

"Last but not least..."

OMG please be me.

Please, please, please.

Say Aiko I beg you.

"Aiko"

WHAT????

REALLY?????

I don't cheer, no one does.

Only the other members clap a bit.

Nothing else.

I am happy but I'm not showing it

"Congratulations to the girls, you can go now" the manager says.

I talk a little bit with my members before rushing to my brothers dorm.

I knock on the door and scream: "SHOTAAAAA; OPEN THE DOOR"

My brother opens the door and looks at me worried.

"I MADE IT"
"WHATTT????" He replies.

"I'M IN THE DEBUT LINEUP, I MADE IT"

"OH MY GOD" he says before hugging me-

"CONGRATS"

"I'M SO EXCITED" I say before breaking the hug.

As I look at my brother I notice there was someone else in his room.
