For a long time, since the last break-up of a five-year relationship, Damiano felt that something was wrong with him, as if he was emotionally blocked, and he was afraid that he wouldn't be able to feel strong emotions again, until you came into his life.

It all happened very quickly, and you were both getting to know each other and exploring everything in your own time.

But Damiano couldn't help feeling unable to show how he felt about you, as if he felt he wasn't showing you enough, and that you deserved more love than he was able to give you.

Damiano felt that he couldn't be repaired, that something was wrong with him, as if he couldn't be fixed.

At that moment, there were only a few hours to go until another of the band's concerts, and Damiano was in his dressing room reflecting on everything.
You had been accompanying him to almost every concert when you could

"Baby, Victoria was looking for you and..." You said, entering the dressing room, but were confused to see that he seemed to be crying.

"Hey, what were you saying?" He asked, trying to cover it up as he quickly wiped the tears from his eyes, but you had already noticed.

"Were you crying?" You asked, as you closed the door behind you, with a certain concern in your voice.

Damiano noticed your concern, but he didn't want you to know anything, he would sort things out for himself.

"No, no, it's just allergies." Damiano said, but he knew it sounded stupid.

You sat down next to him, looking a little more serious, you couldn't just ignore it.

"Damiano, it's autumn." you said, and he realized that he wasn't going to be able to avoid that conversation so easily.

Damiano seemed afraid to talk about it, and you realized it and approached him, placing your hand on his so that he would look at you.

"Baby, tell me what's going on." You asked him, and he knew you were worried.

"It's nothing, really Y/n" He said, trying to shake that subject, but you weren't going to give up that easily.

"Damiano, if we want to make this work, we need to be honest with each other." You told him seriously.

He sighed, he knew that, you had always agreed to talk about everything, but he was afraid, afraid of you leaving him, afraid of you realizing that he wasn't enough for you.

"I'm afraid..." He murmured quietly, but you didn't seem to hear.

"What, love?" You said.

"I'm afraid, okay? I'm afraid that I won't be enough for you, afraid that I won't be able to give you all the love you deserve, afraid that you'll leave me-" He said anxiously, but you interrupted him before he could finish.

"Hey, hey, calm down, yes?" you said, putting your hands on his shoulders to try to calm him down.

Damiano put his hands to his face in frustration. You were worried, you had no idea where all this was coming from all of a sudden.

It took him a few minutes to calm down, but you were by his side the whole time.

"Baby, please tell me what's going on." You asked him.

Damiano hugged you, but you had never seen him in such a vulnerable state as he was at that moment.
He leaned his head on your shoulder, and you comforted him by reminding him that it was okay to cry, and he let go.

"I feel like I'm not enough for you, that you deserve so much better..." He said, and it pained you a little to hear him say it.

"Damiano, you're as enough for me as I am for you, I like you, that's why I'm with you." You said.

He lifted his head from your shoulder to look at your face, and you saw his eyes welling up with tears.

"I don't know if I can feel the same way as you"

You froze when he said that, what did he mean?

"I want this to work out between us, but I feel like I'm not giving you enough of what you deserve," Damiano said, and you finally understood what he meant.

You didn't answer anything for a moment, you just sighed, pulling him into a tight hug, and kissing his nose gently, something affectionate that you always did.

"Damiano, I know we've been hurt by past relationships, but we're going to fix this together." You said, with him in your arms, while Damiano buried his face in your shoulder.

"I don't know if I can be fixed," he said against her shoulder.

You let out a small laugh, as you sighed with his words.

"I can heal a lot of broken hearts," you said, hearing a small laugh from him.
