The days after our heart-to-heart conversation felt like a new beginning for me and Anna. Me and Anna stood together, overlooking the city from a quiet spot at the park. We had been through so much in the past months heartbreak, healing, and growth but now, at this moment, it felt like they were finally reaching the end of one chapter and the beginning of another.

Anna took a deep breath, feeling the weight of the moment. She had spent so much time wondering if she was making the right choices, but now, with me by her side, everything felt right. She knew that she had made the right decision to let go of her past and truly give her heart to me.

Yet, there was still something that I needed to address, something that had been lingering in my heart for a while.

"I have to tell you something, Anna," I said quietly. "Something I’ve been holding on to for a long time."

Anna turned to me, her expression curious. "What is it, Thea?"

I took a deep breath, gathering her courage. And Igrab her hand "I never really stopped loving you. Even after everything, I still loved you. And I think I always will. So Anna, Will you marry me?"

Anna’s heart skipped a beat as she looked into my eyes. She had known, in some part of her heart, that my feelings hadn’t changed, but hearing me say it out loud hit her like a wave. It was as if everything we had been through, all the heartache and confusion, suddenly made sense.

"I never stopped loving you either," Anna replied, her voice thick with emotion. "I thought I had to let go, but the truth is, I was just afraid. Afraid of being hurt again. But now, I know that I don’t want to live in fear anymore. I want to be with you. Only you. So yes I'll marry you."

My eyes softened, a tear slipping down her cheek. "I’ve waited for this moment for so long. I’m sorry for everything I did in the past. For the mistakes I made. But I promise, I’m here now. And I’m not going anywhere. Mamahalin kita ng buong puso at ipaparamdam ko sayo na mahal na mahal kita hanggang sa aking huling hininga."

Anna reached out, wiping away my tear, her touch gentle. "We’ve both made mistakes, Thea. But that’s what makes us stronger. We’re not perfect, but we’re perfect for each other."

I smiled, the weight in my heart finally lifting. In that moment, everything felt right. We had faced our fears, their doubts, and our pasts. And now, we were ready to face the future together.

"I know there’s still a lot to figure out," Anna said, her voice soft but confident. "But I’m ready. As long as we’re together, we’ll figure it out. One step at a time."

I nodded, my heart full of love. "I’m ready too. Whatever happens, we’re in this together."

As we leaned in, sharing a tender kiss, we knew that our love had only grown stronger through the hardships we had faced. And though there would be more challenges ahead, we were no longer afraid. We had found our way back to each other, and nothing would tear us apart.

Our hearts were no longer unfinished. They had found what they were looking for in each other.

For them True love waits. True love doesn't give up. True love is patient. True love is in the actions, not words. True love forgives and forgets. True love is unconditional. True love stands the test of time. True love is a choice. True love comes from the heart. But for me True love never dies.
