Bachelorettes

Abigail:

20. She's young enough to still feel pressure to listen to her parents, but old enough that she's starting to question how much she really has to do what they say. From one of Emily's heart event's we know she's at least graduated from high school, so I imagine she took a year or two off before getting bored and a little restless and started some online college credit courses to test the waters.

Emily:

100% the oldest bachelorette, she is definitely at the very least 27. She's old enough to have been caring for Hailey, which kinda give me the idea that they have a similar age gap as Sam and Vincent, maybe a little smaller though. She's got her shit together so good, she knows exactly who she is and isn't afraid to be exactly who she is, unapologetically. She is a mature adult.

Hailey:

The definition of a fresh 19 year old who thinks she understands everything, thinks she knows who she is, thinks she is unapologetically herself... but is in for a rude awakening once that frontal lobe is fully developed. She's naive enough to not fully understand how her actions affect others, and still has herself as the center of the world. Not much perspective yet, but her arch shows she's on her way to growing into herself.

Leah:

Another older bachelorette, not quite to Emily yet. 25. She's old enough to have had a whole life partner, lived apart from her parents and was self sufficient. She's got a good head on her shoulders but still isn't quite fully grown into herself. She's mature. She's everything.

Maru:

I don't know why but she's young to me. 18. She's very mature for her age, but based on Demetrius's protection of her, she's mature beyond her years. She's also a little sister, a favored younger sibling that's still kinda getting the baby treatment, so I don't think she can be that far into her 20's.

Penny:

21. She's been through a bit that has forced her to mature and be the parent to her mother, but she's still young, she still has a hint of optimism that things can change for her. She's healing her own childhood a bit through tutoring Vincent and Jas, helping them have it better than she did.
