Lilly sat within the VR system only a few seconds before she saw the flash of light indicating that the game had started. It had opened without any noticeable load time nor load screen, and the first thing Lilly saw once it had opened was a lot of white. It took several moments for her eyes to adjust, but soon she saw herself within a rectangular room made entirely out of snow. The room had a hallway that looked like a rectangle topped with a semi circle that led outside. The hall was on the shorter wall of the rectangular room, and on the parallel wall was a bed. On the other side of the back wall was a crate half the size of Lilly. The last piece of furniture was the table that sat in the centre of the room, it had a small lantern sitting on top of it that emits a rather dim light.

Lilly was currently standing at the back wall of the room after loading into the game. As she started to take a step forward, she saw the clothing she was wearing sway in the wind.

"Wow, this feels so realistic", she said aloud in wonder.

She was wearing warm winter clothing made out of leather. The coat had visible fluffy fur around the neckline, hood, bottom hem, and at the end of the sleeves. This fur was also inside the coat to ensure warmth. To keep the coat tight to her body, was a large red leather strap that also doubled to help her stand out more in the middle of heavy snowfall. Her pants were made of leather and fur, with the fur sticking out of the bottom of her legs. Though there was one main difference to the pants, and that was the fact that there was a hole cut where her tail was.

When she was creating her character, she chose her species to be what is known as an Inuit. They are essentially a fox version of a cat girl. This meant that Lilly had a fluffy tail and fluffy fox ears on the top of her head. Her fox fur, meaning the fur of her ears and tail, was a dirty blond colour while her actual long hair was a blond colour. Her actual hair fell to around halfway down her back. The last notable feature of her character was her dark blue eyes.

Lilly then grabbed the hem of her shirt, then started spinning around. She was in wonder over how advanced the cloth physics were in the game. She ended up just playing with bits and pieces of her clothing for 15 minutes before remembering that she joined this game with friends. They were probably waiting in different places for her, so she started to make her way out of her snow room, and outside she saw a sight that was more familiar to her than a rectangular room made out of snow. That room was actually an Igloo and the rectangular room was simply just a room carved into the snowy dome of a house.

Around the igloo she walked out of was several igloos just like it. Lilly thought long and hard about where she was currently, but was quickly stumped because of her lack of knowledge. Her entire repertoire of knowledge came from Ashley's ramblings, which mostly consisted of Beth and the Knight. Along with the Knight's less than normal attitude when it comes to Beth specifically. Ashley rarely talked about the snowy regions, or the Inuit species of people to Lilly. This was currently a problem as it left her very much in the dark about what to do.

Looking around, Lilly spotted a significant amount of Igloos, as well as a large campfire in the relative centre of everything. Near the campfire, she saw a man and a woman talking. Taking a moment to start talking and maybe learn something, she walked up to them and said hello.

"Hello." The man said. "You new here? I don't think I've seen you around here before."

"I think so. Ah, my mind is a little fuzzy at this current moment so I'm not fully sure." Lilly responded, then pointed to the Igloo she walked out of moments earlier. "The last thing I remember was waking up in that Igloo over there."

"Ah! You're a new neighbour? I was wondering when they were gonna finally get someone to live there." The woman said excitedly.

"I just got here! Might I ask about where I am? I'm unfamiliar with the area." Lilly said to try and grasp where exactly she is.
