This one is in JJ's.

I know what you may be thinking. Is JJ Routledge like his uncle JJ? Well yes, you are right. In fact I look a lot like him. I've grown up in the town of Kildare my whole life, where rivalries were born and legends were made. As part of the next generation of Pogues, I've learned to live by rush of the Pogue life just like my pops.

I'm proud to be a Pogue, and I take on the spirit of my heritage proudly. Alongside me are my close friends and sister, Saylor, Cayden, and Layla. We're a team, and together, we're the Pogues. You may also be thinking, do they hunt treasure like their parents? Nope... at-least not yet.

It all started with a beach party.

Today was the first day summer, the Kooks gathered on the south side of the beach, flaunting their privilege with a personal DJ. Ryker Cameron, Kaleb Thompson, and Tara Thornton were dancing and chatting, sipping on cold drinks and sending us glances every now and then.

They think they're better than us, by planning a party the same day we did just to see who can do it better, but we all know the truth. Nothing will ever beat the Pogues way of life.

"Whoo-hoo! This is going to be the best summer ever!" Saylor shouts, her long, golden hair twirling as she spins around from the coast of the beach, just finishing up surfing.

Layla, meanwhile, is perfecting her tan, lounging on a colorful beach towel with a glamorous pair of sunglasses perched on her forehead. "Ugh, can someone please pass me another cold one?" she requests, holding out her hand.

Cayden tosses her a cold beer from the cooler. "Coming right up, Layla!"

I finish setting up the speakers and put on a song, Tongue tied. Our personal favorite. Saylor grabs my hand and pulls me into a dance-off. "Come on, JJ, show me your moves!" she teases.

I never back down from a dance-off, so I bust out my best, or worst dance moves, depending on who you ask.

"Dude, what are you even doing?" Cayden chokes out as he munches on his Doritos. Layla, still lounging on her towel, tosses a beach ball at me, which I swiftly catch while still dancing. "Hey, don't be a hater, Layla! I've got rhythm, okay?" I defend myself.

The fun continues as Cayden sneaks up behind Saylor and dumps a handful of ice-cold water down her back. "Ah! Cayden, you asshole!" she shrieks, spinning around to chase him down.

As the night wore on, I pulled out my guitar and began strumming a melody, drawing the group in with my beautiful voice. I got it from my mother, all those nights of her singing me sweet lullabys really paid off. Saylor snuggled up close to Cayden and Layla was sat next to me humming along.

I eventually went to grab a drink but then I noticed there were none left, "Hey, where's the beer gone? I could've sworn we had a whole stash..."

Saylor, spoke up, "JJ, I think someone's been stealing our beer. I saw Ryker sneaking around here earlier..."

I cupped my hands together and shouted to the other side of the beach where the Kooks were, "Ryker, you bitch! I knew it was only a matter of time before you pulled something like that!"

Ryker, shot back a glance and simply shrugged. I made my way over to them hoping to retrieve the beer. Tara, Ryker's girlfriend, grabbed his arm and pulled him to the side, "Ryker, you're being really childish right now. Can't you just share?"

Layla, got up from her towel walking over to the kooks side along with me, "I don't think this is about sharing, Tara. I think it's about respect. You and your friends need to learn to respect other people's property."
