Mick's Lost Children

Chapter 1: The Beginning

It was a peaceful day on Leoxo and my wife Eclipse and I were teaching our kids how to uses their powers correctly without causing chaos, I was working with them on Shapeshifting and Eclipse was working with them on Calvin's light blue and yellow lightning and Caitlin's water manipulation.

The messenger we have on Leoxo teleported into the back garden where we all were and said that our presence was requested on Leonis where the Empire of the Lion Galaxy lived.

I had no idea why we were requested because I am just head mechanic of Leoxo and my wife was a photographer and my kids were trying to follow in both of our footsteps, but that was more Cat (Caitlin) than Cal (Calvin).

Once we arrived on Leonis, we were separated into age groups and a group of monsters had to pick four people from each group, sadly my wife was the first one to get picked and then it was my kids and finally it was me!

We all found out that four people had to be sold to Galvanax on Galaxy Warriors and I hated what the Empire of the Lion Galaxy did to us and that is why I resent them now and forever!

~A few months later in the Galaxy Warrior ship~

We learnt over the next few week of being sold that there was three main leaders: the main one being Galvanax and then his two hand monsters, Madame Odius and Ripcon! Galvanax was a beast and a brute, Madame Odius was smart and sly and Ripcon was cunning and strong with good swordsmith skills.

One day my wife had to do the preparing of the Galaxy Warrior show and one of the monsters mistook her as one of the contestants of the show and the monster asked "Are you ready to fight?" And Eclipse was confused and scared when she saw Galvanax nod his head in her direction meaning that she had to fight the monster. The monster told her that its name was Singe, but in my opinion the monster looked like a walking candle. Eclipse said "Yes I am your opponent today".

I had both Cal and Cat at my side watching in anticipation and wondering if my wife would be ok. I looked at both of their faces and realised that they were clutching onto their pendants that had all of us as a family in Leoxo tap dancing studio with us in our homemade tap dancing outfits.

At first it looked like Eclipse had an upper hand because every time when Singe threw fire at her, Exlipse blocked it with a wave of water and to stop Singe from advancing towards her, she put out 100 volts of electricity to stop Singe. We all thought she was doing well until a flame came running towards her and avoided the electricity trap, it also somehow managed to get out of the water waves path like the flame had a mind of its own. The flames attacked Eclipse's clothes and set them on fire, but it was also melting her skin. Before all of us could see her downfall, Cosmo the owner of the show said "We have a winner, Singe!" Once Singe returned he saw my furious face expressions and saw how scared both Calvin and Caitlin were and smirked in our directions.

I knew then and there that my kids won't be free and happy here, especially with danger lurking round the corner. I knew they wouldn't survive even if they were five year olds and had been training with me and Eclipse.

I knew that there was a transportation pods in the Galaxy Warrior ship, so that some monsters that couldn't teleport down or fly down to the planet could use them. I placed my kids in separate pods because you could only fit one person or monster in at a time. I knew that Cal wanted to work on space crafts and vehicles, so I gave him a love heart with a yellow truck necklace and gave Cat a spare of my work goggles but the colours purple and magenta, but they also had a lion at the side to remember our home.

I didn't know where they would end up on Earth, but I did know that I would always have them in my heart because I had that family pendant and from both of my kids I got a amethyst necklace which had magenta and yellow writing on saying "We love you dad love Cal and Cat". That is what I will always cherish in my heart from my kids.

~On Earth, Calvin~

I landed in my transport pod on Earth, I didn't know that you could put your pod in invisible mode, but I learnt to do that and began wondering around and then came across and adoption centre and went in there and asked if I could be adopted, they said yes and I saw a couple in the corner talking to some adoption centre workers. The people that saw me asked for my name and age so I replied with "Calvin or Cal and I am five years old" they then looked at the couple in the corner talking to some of their employees and realised that I was the only five year old here and they said that the couple over there would be my new parents and that their names were Amelia and David Maxwell.

I also found out that they wanted to raise a five year old and live in Summer Cove.

~On Earth, Caitlin~

My Transport Pod landed in a small peaceful campsite in Pine Ridge. I caused most of the campers to panic, but there was one person that didn't panic at all.

She came up to me and said "Hello dear, my name is Ashley Carter, what is yours and where did you come from?" I replied shyly "My name is Caitlin but my family used to call me Cat, and I was from the planet Leoxo in the Lion Galaxy before my family and myself were sold to monsters that behaved like tyrants on a ship called the Galaxy Warrior Dome. My mum was killed and my dad sent me and my twin brother who is somewhere on Earth for our protection." Ashley was a bit shocked after I kind of told my short version of my story, but accepted me for who I was anyway, she also asked if I wanted to join her and her family and I happily said yes, knowing that all of us would get along perfectly.

Ashley also said that herself and her family lived in Summer Cove, but was in Pine Ridge for a family holiday.
