"Am I the only one who notices the oddity between these two guys?"

"Yeah I mean those two are like the opposites, like the one with brown hair and golden brown eyes is reserved and focused on what we're learning. And the other guy is..."

"Looks like he isn't trying to hide his perverted gaze?"

"That's about right."

It was currently the free period which usually is the lunch period as well.

The many female classmates in Ayanokoji's class were talking about him and Gakuto, and Gakuto decided to pat Ayanokoji on the back to give him some sympathy.

"Don't worry about them Ayanokoji-dono, your perverted gazes are what makes you a true man!" Gakuto told him as he raised his glasses slightly.

'I wonder if he is using me as a coping mechanism? And switching the narrative from what our female classmates were saying about us? I also noticed that he was staring at the girls a bit too much during class, although given how the girls described it, he was obviously looking at them with lustful intent for his fantasies. I wonder if it's too late to hit myself on the head to forget Gakuto? No, it probably wouldn't succeed given how my brain is operated.' Ayanokoji thought to himself as he contemplated on if he should still be friends with Gakuto or not. "Okay." Ayanokoji responded to him in his usual monotone voice.

Gakuto was a bit confused about Ayanokoji's response, given how he acted politely and somewhat sociably when he introduced himself to Gakuto, but from that response, it sounded like he didn't know how to properly give someone a response when Gakuto tried to give him support.

"You're not very sociable, aren't you?" Gakuto asked him out of curiosity due to Ayanokoji's inconsistencies in his social skills. "They're not exactly the best." Ayanokoji answered him straightforwardly.

Due to his early years, he didn't exactly communicate with his former classmates, due to not seeing the reason to do so during that time. But now he does want to improve his social skills, which did start to improve as he interacted with Takenomiya, but he assumed that she was being polite with him because it was her obligation as the student council president to do so.

"Well, no worries! As you are in my care!" Gakuto exclaimed loudly which grabbed some of the female classmates' attention as they looked at both of them, or more specifically Gakuto for his sudden outburst.

Although those looks that he was getting were that of disgust he didn't seem to care, no it was more like he wasn't aware of it yet.

'I don't think it's a good idea to learn anything social from him, but I guess I shouldn't pass up the opportunity.' Ayanokoji thought as he responded back to him. "I'll be in your care then." He said but in reality, he'll not take any advice or insight from Gakuto when it comes to social aspects of society.

"Great to hear my comrade, now let's head to lunch, I've preplanned a meeting with the other guys." Gakuto said as he stood up from his seat.

"You've already made plans with them? Do you know them before coming here?" Ayanokoji curiously asked Gakuto.

"Yes and no. We met after the entrance ceremony and they were just like us comrades! And we agreed to meet during the lunch period. Anyway, you should come! I bet you'll feel comfortable sitting with us." He offered to Ayanokoji.

"Alright."

They then left the classroom, as they were heading towards the cafeteria but Ayanokoji told him that he'd meet up with him later in the cafeteria to use the restroom to which Gakuto nodded and made his way to the cafeteria by himself.
