There they were, laying on Tim's bed while Lori taught Tim, however she kept confusing the dates, names and events, her mind still thinking of Emma
"She does that every time I bring one of my friends over, it's annoying" Tim's voice said dismissively, chewing on the top of his pen while struggling to remember what he was supposed to write down
"Huh?" Lori said, acting as if she hadn't just thought about Emma
"You know, Emma, with her wet hair and white shirt and shorts. That's not an accident"
"Oh...does she call everyone else cute too?"
"Nah, that was just you, and I'm guessing you're not very straight by the way you were blushing and stumbling over your words just now"
"Shut up! I'm very straight, I like boys!" Lori said defensively
"Really? Then describe your type"
"I-uhm...looks don't matter! It's what's inside that counts"
"Yet everyone has something they're more attracted to, you can't deny that, so, what's your type" Tim said, biting back a cocky smirk, knowing loris not into men
"Uhhhhh, I,....tall blonds that are slightly older but no more than two years because that would be pedophilia"
"So I'm your type?"
"WHAT NO"
"I'm a 6'ft blond and a year older than you"
"You don't count! You're not a boy boy if you now what I mean"
"So you're saying I'm a girl now?" He said, raising and eyebrow
"I mean- no I just mean you're not a typical teenage boy"
"Chill, I'm fine with you being lesbian"
"I'm not-..." Lori didn't continue the sentence, just kept looking down and picking at her nails
"It's just- I don't know. My parents are very Christian and well they keep saying that stuff like that isn't okay" she said, her voice quiet and cracking
"That's bullshit"
"Can we just continue studying please?"
"Whatever makes you feel that most comfortable. If you wanna continue studying, or we'll more so teaching me, then sure"
"Thanks"
________________________________Only a couple of minutes later, Lori zoned out again when a voice said "you thinking about my sister again?"
Lori, who get scared easily, hit tim over the over the head with the book, but instead of being mad at Lori like Lori that tim would be, he just laughed
"You little rat!" He exclaimed laughing to the of nearly being in tears
"I'm so so sorry"
"Chill, you didn't seriously think you could hurt me"
"Oh shut up, I totally could"
"Yeah yeah, as if"
"Want me to prove it?" A mischievous glint was in loris eyes as she said that
"No thanks, but I want you to stop zoning out and teach me"
Loris face flushed again as she answered "if you stop being a dickhead i might"
"Fine Fine, I'll stop"
Lori went back to teaching Tim, occasionally hitting him with the book when he would forget something, luckily for them, it ended up working and Tim eventually started actually remembering what Lori taught him
