It started slowly. At first, it was just a look across the practice room, a glance exchanged between the two youngest members of BTS. V, with his quiet intensity, always seemed to exist in his own world, lost in thought, while Jungkook, the golden maknae, was forever striving for perfection in every move, every note. But there was something undeniable in the way they would occasionally meet eyes. Something neither of them could explain, and yet neither could ignore.

The dorm was filled with the familiar sounds of laughter and chaos, the comfortable hum of daily life. Jin was in the kitchen, cooking up a storm as usual; Suga was sprawled out on the couch, headphones in; J-Hope and Jimin were likely arguing over something trivial, as they always did. But for the past few weeks, V had found himself increasingly distracted. His thoughts kept drifting back to Jungkook. The way his eyes lit up when he sang, the quiet confidence in his movements when he performed, and the warmth he radiated even in the middle of the busiest rehearsals.

And Jungkook? He'd always admired V's unique way of seeing the world, the soft and artistic soul that seemed to shine through in every performance. But lately, there had been something more—something unspoken between them, a silent pull. And it was getting harder to ignore.

"Hyung," Jungkook called softly one evening, breaking V out of his reverie as he gazed out of the window, watching the city lights flicker.

V turned to face him, a small smile curling on his lips. "What is it, Kookie?"

"Do you want to come with me to get some food?" Jungkook asked. "It's a late night, but I thought we could grab some ramen, just the two of us."

V's heart skipped a beat. It wasn't unusual for the members to go out together, but there was something about the idea of just him and Jungkook that felt different. "Yeah, that sounds nice," he said, his voice quieter than usual. "Let me just grab my jacket."
