The days following their kiss were filled with confusion and excitement. They couldn't keep their hands off each other, but every moment had to be stolen. In the privacy of their shared room, Jungkook was tender, patient, and attentive. V, on the other hand, was more hesitant—afraid to fully open up, to surrender to the overwhelming emotions that bubbled beneath the surface.

One night, after the rest of the members had gone to bed, V found himself standing in front of the mirror, his thoughts racing. Jungkook had been unusually quiet that evening, and V could sense that something was wrong. The way he hadn't quite looked him in the eyes all night, the way his usual energy had faded into something more withdrawn—it worried him.

When Jungkook entered the room, V turned to face him, a quiet resolve in his eyes.

"Kookie, what's wrong?" V asked gently.

Jungkook hesitated, running a hand through his hair. "I'm scared," he admitted quietly. "Scared of what this means. Scared of what could happen if someone finds out. We can't just keep living in secret, hyung. I don't want to hide us anymore."

V's heart ached. He reached out, his hand finding Jungkook's. "I'm scared too. But I know that we can't keep pretending that nothing's changed. I care about you, Kookie. I care about you so much."

Jungkook smiled softly, the weight of his words sinking into his chest. "Then let's not hide anymore."
