The Creature

Part 5

As Ellie May walks back to her home, the two people who spotted her when she entered the woods saw her. They were shocked. They thought she would be dead! They hurried over to her and stopped her.

"My! We saw you enter those woods, everyone else who entered had died but you're alive! How?" the lady on the right asked.

"Oh, I stayed quiet as much as I could. I think the reason why the others died was because they were making too much noise. I studied the stories and pictures for a month or two. I'm still studying a bit more about it to see what has caused these creatures to randomly be here." said Ellie May.

"Well, you're indeed a smart lady for this! I'm glad you're getting pretty far for your searching to figure this out. Would you like some help? I'm Mary." The lady on the right asked, wanting to help out.

The man on the left nods. "Yes, if you agree with it me and Mary will help out so you aren't doing this alone. I'm Henry." the man said.

Ellie May nods. "That would be lovely. Come on, let's head to my house. It ain't that far."

"Okay, come on Mary, let's get going." Henry said, following Ellie May with Mary beside him. The house wasn't too far away, just 20 minutes away.

"Here we are, come on in." Ellie May said as she opened the door, leading Mary and Henry inside. The house was nice and cozy.

There were books on the dining room table with papers, newspapers, and more. Ellie May had spent a long time researching this a lot for weeks. She set her bag down on the table before turning to Mary and Henry. "Oh, I forgot to introduce myself. My name is Ellie May. It's really nice to get some help with this." she said, sitting down in a chair at the table.

"Come and sit. We can talk about the creatures and you can help me look at the few things I brought back from the house in the woods." she unzipped her bag, looking over at Mary and Henry.

"Sure but first, wouldn't it be better if we get to know each other better? We only just met so how about we talk about ourselves before we get into the research?" Henry suggested and Mary nodded.

"Okay, that sounds like a good idea. Come and sit and we'll talk about ourselves before the research." Ellie May says as Mary and Henry sit in two other chairs at the table.
