Jinx was doing some more inventing in her hide out with what scraps left to tinker but then a thud was heard besides her. Looking to the side, Isha had placed down a Jinx's coffee mug— now covered in doodles of bunnies. The little girl had a smile on her face as she looked at Jinx expectingly, looking more adorable with the gap between her teeth.
"Do you like it?" Isha signed. A glimmer of excitement and joy was in her eyes to show off her new hobby.
"Uh.. yeah. Pretty cool." Jinx would reply, unfamiliar with how to react to a kid's actions. Isha however, was joyous with Jinx's 'praise'.
"One moment" Isha signed again before she scurried away to get a piece of paper, leaving Jinx confused and intrigued. The little girl ran back and a bit giddy and shy now.
"What is it Isha?" Jinx asked, turning her full attention to the girl— who simply gave her the paper.
Jinx was in utter shock to see the drawing. Even more so when she read the word "Mama" pointed at her obviously stick figure self in Isha's drawing. A small chuckle too escaped Jinx's lips as she read the spelling errors of the kid but.. Isha's still learning. No need to be hasty.
"You made this?" Jinx would ask the now shy girl to receive a bashful nod.
"It looks great, Isha." Jinx praise which taken her aback for being out of character. However Isha tap the word "Mama" before she looked at Jinx."Can you be my mama?" Isha would ask through signing again. A hopeful expression on her face and a sense of deja Vu washed over Jinx.

Silco was at his office doing some paperwork while smoking. He then reached for his ash tray only to find it missing on his desk. Confused, he looked around the place and saw a blue hair sticking out behind a chair. "Jinx." He called making the young girl flinch and poke her head behind the chair. "Did you took my ash tray?"
Jinx revealed herself holding the tray, now with doodles. She looked down on the floor before giving back the tray to Silco. "I'm sorry... I just wanted to make it pretty." Jinx would reason the Silco. The man would only stay silent and stare at the tray, now filled with doodles of monkeys.
"It's alright." Silco would say. Tapping his cigarette onto the tray. "It's... lovely." He praised hesitantly before taking a long drag and blowing off the smoke away from Jinx.
The room fell to an awkward silence, making Jinx even more nervous for the question she had been meaning to ask the man. "Mr Silco?" Jinx would start, nervously fidgeting with her fingers.
"Yes, child?" Silco would reply, looking at Jinx.
"Since you're taking me in... Does that mean I can call you Papa?" The girl's question made the man halt from taking another drag of his cigarette. Silence once again envelopes the room before Silco spoke. "Would you like to?"
His questions made the girl nodded after a moment of silence. A small smile playing on his lips seeing this. "Then you can call me your father, or papa.. or whatever you prefer."
Hearing his words, Jinx immediately beamed in joy before going around the table to embrace Silco. Frankly, the man was not much of an affection receiver nor giver. But seeing the girl's joyful expression made his stone cold heart soften enough to embrace his daughter back.

Isha looked at Jinx in confusion and fear due to Jinx's late response. The smile on the girl's face slowly turned upsidedown before she held her fist to her chest. "Sorry" is what Isha had signed, looking like about to cry. Only to be picked up so suddenly by Jinx.
"Hey, no frowning, Scraps." Jinx chuckles. A hint of affection in her voice. "Yes... I can be your mama, Isha."
Finally having an answer Isha's smile came back and she embrace Jinx tightly. Signing "Thank you" as she did.
Jinx held the child close and tightly, her fingers running through the girl's untamed brunette hair. "You know... You really remind me of her." Jinx murmurs making the girl confused.
"Who" Isha signed making Jinx chuckle once more. "My old self... Powder."
