You had just gotten off your plane about 30 minutes ago and had just gotten out of your uber with your luggage. You were currently in Iowa city, surprise visiting your sister Jada who you hadn't see in almost 5 months. With your busy Wnba schedule and your off days being filled with meetings,training or appearances you couldn't really visit your sister like you wanted too. With it being the post-season now was the perfect time.
You walked into the apartment building checking in with the front desk, and after successfully getting your sisters apartment number you then walked over to the elevator with your suitcase and backpack you hit the button. It dinged and you got in pressing the 4th floor. As the elevator doors opened you felt a smile creep onto your face, you were so happy you made this a suprise. Walking down the hall, looking at the post it note making sure it was the right number you quickly knocked then covered the peep hole.
"who is it?" you heard your sisters voice " i don't know i can't see" you heard an unknown voice speak, you got a little nervous not knowing if your sister had company over and you were interrupting something. As you were looking down at the ground the door opened, you looked up and made eye contact with a girl you've seen before but only on facetime with jada. You smiled at the girl she was so beautiful, you had talked to her like once or twice on facetime with jada before and always thought she was cute now that you were seeing her in front of you thought she was even more beautiful.
"jadaa come here" she said smiling at your before turning back and calling to your sister. You see jada walking over to the girl with her phone in hand, probably on live. she looked up and made eye contact with you " oh my god" she said before running over to you and embracing you in a big hug her head going on top of yours. "y/n no way you're here right now i missed you so much!" she said squeezing you even tighter you squeezed her back happy to be with your sister. " come on we have so much to catch up on give me your suitcase " she said grabbing your suitcase from your hands and handing it to the girl whose name you just remembered to be hannah.
You walked in, jada taking your bag and suitcase and putting it in her room. Jada had ended her live a few minutes ago now all three of you were sitting across from each other in the living room. " i'm so happy your here i missed you so much y/n" jada said "this is Hannah you've talked to her once or twice on facetime" she said pointing to hannah who smiled and waved. you smiled back at her, something about her was pulling you in and you wanted to get to know her better.
"you play for the sparks right?" hannah questioned looking over at you " i'm a huge fan" shes said with a shy smile " yes I do " you said smiling. Jada looked at both of you noticing the tension between the two of you her plan going off like a light bulb in her head. She was setting you and hannah up before you left. " how long are you gonna be here sis?" jada said looking at you " 2 or 3 weeks depending on how long you'll let me stay" you said looking at your sister and smiling. "oh my gosh I love you, we can make up all the months of not seeing each other " jada said looking over at hannah who was much more quieter now that you were here. She could tell her teammate was nervous but wasn't going to call her out.

The rest of the night the three of you had a movie night, with all three of you eventually ending up on the couch cuddling jada in between you and hannah while both of you stole glances at each other from the different sides of the couch. Hannah ended up leaving after the third movie since it was getting dark outside and her roommate started to get worried. You and Jada said your goodbyes to the girl with Jada walking her out talking rather long to come back.
Jada walked back into the living room, " you totally like her" "and guess what she likes you too" jada said not giving you a chance to reply or fight her on the current subject. you felt your face get hot and your ears getting warm. You knew you had started blushing and tried to hide your face in one of jadas pillows.
