Motivation - SPORADIC UPDATES

So I'm doing a rewrite...

Yup, you guys heard that right. I'm doing a rewrite of Motivation, kickstarted by me getting a lil back into the MHA fandom and it being November. I've wanted to do NaNoWriMo for a couple years now, and figured I should start off with something... Well, not EASY, but doable. Also known as the well over 60k fanfic I already have written.

See, a lot has changed since I first started writing Motivation. For one, I'm in college now, and I started this fic when I was... I think a freshman in high school? Something like that. My writing style has changed a fair bit, I'd like to think, and continuing Motivation as-is would be a bit jarring on my end.

Also I'd like to actually plan out a plot instead of just a vague info document about the characters and winging it from there. Believe it or not, I honestly didn't really have a concrete plan as to where Motivation was going. Well, beyond [REDACTED] and [REDACTED] happening as a result.

The rewrite won't change anything major, honestly, mostly just the pacing. I think. I do know that I will be retconning Katashi's Quirk a little (Kazue's dad if you don't remember), but don't worry about having to figure everything out. Y'all remember how goddamn analytical Kazue is and that fact that he actively describes people's Quirks.

Besides that, I'll make sure to make a character info sheet that you can refer to if you forget who someone is or what their Quirk is or something like that. I'll try to keep it as spoiler-free as possible, but to be safe, I'll probably just keep updating it after every new introduction or reveal and keep it an the end of the chapter list 💀 

HOWEVER!!!

This is NOT to say that I will be publishing new chapters immediately. Despite NaNo, I'm... yeah, only into 4k words. Um. Yeah.

Throwback to when I used to be able to crank out a chapter per week and ended up as number one in the #bnha tag?? That was crazy. 

Keep in mind that I am in college, so the workload is greater and my procrastination is at an all-time high. While my priorities will be aimed at school, I will attempt to aim my procrastination toward writing. No promises, but I'll make an honest attempt.

- Yeah so I don't know if I've mentioned this before but I used to consider myself straight. Then I discovered women™️. So I'm not straight, I'm bi. Wahoo. Also I'm like 99.999% sure the girl I'm hardcore crushing on me likes me back, so that's a win. What's lame is our colleges being eight hours away from each other 🙄 

- Also I'm literally just some guy, so pronouns update if you actually knew them in the first place I guess.

- While I'm technically an undecided engineering major, I do plan on double-majoring in Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering. Pretty cool, I would think.

Anyway.
