Tecton's kinda smexy not gonna lie-
~-~-~-~
The hero skidded to a stop on the pavement at an intersection a few streets down, instantly muttering out a few coloful curses upon the sight in front of them.
Fire was all over the street. The source of the explosions was a blond boy, the rage clear in his eyes visible from their vantage point. And the reason he was using his Quirk in public was because of the sludge-green slime covering him almost head to toe, resisting attacks from several heroes attempting rescue.
Tecton immediately sprinted forward again like the hero he was, taking post next to the other heroes that had stopped attacking and urgently conversing about the situation. Like them, his Quirk wasn't suited for such a situation as this, especially with all the civilians gathered around. Especially with a hostage situation.
Kazue made his way forward to the back left of the crowd, watching the scene with an impassive expression on his face. He couldn't help but worry if the blond boy would be alright, especially when the heroes couldn't do anything. Well, at least until the teen just so happened to glance to the side and blink at the person hiding at the back right of the crowd.
A tall, sickly thin man with blond hair, and an all-too-familiar Quirk reading.
One that Kazue had only seen once before, back when he was seven and only knew how to see the name of people's Quirks.
One For All.
All Might was here, but not in the way that he triumphantly declared at the start of every short-lived fight. He was here in... his normal form, watching.
But Kazue didn't get the chance to dive deeper into the hero's Quirk out of curiosity, interrupted by shouts from the heroes at the forefront.
"What the..." he breathed, face screwing up incredulously as a short kid in a junior high school uniform charged around them, heading straight for the villain. All it took was a single look for Kazue to know that the boy was Quirkless.
Quirkless, and charging towards a villain that several pro heroes couldn't defeat.
Kazue could only wonder how the hell someone without any power could find the motivation to do something so crazy and idiotic, yet heroic at the same time as he sidled to the other side of the crowd. It made no sense, but the green-haired boy was doing it anyway, launching his yellow backpack through the air. Books flew out, one stabbing the villain in the eye.
Well, at least he wasn't completely idiotic, knowing a good way to make someone flinch back and make an opening.
"Hello," Kazue said blandly, finally stopping to stand next to the number one hero as the kid with a death wish tore at the slime uselessly with his hands. Without waiting for an answer, he held out his hand, palm up. "You look like you could use a recharge."
Without hesitation—what was up with the whole 'no hesitation' thing with heroes, anyway?—All Might let the hand that was clutching at his shirt to drop into Kazue's outstretched one. The brunet activated his Quirk, shoving as much energy as he could into the pulse as possible, uncaring about if he'd pass out afterwards.
The edges of his lips curled up as steam exploded from the blond's skinny form, the hero wasting no time in speeding to action. Within the span of a second, All Might sped forward faster than Kazue's eyes could process and yanked back the two kids at the epicenter. And the brunet could only watch in subdued amazement as the hero let loose with his signature Detroit Smash, his minuscule grin growing into more of a small smile as he braced himself for the wind he knew was coming.
