Love ran back to the party just in time to meet Engfa, who had just emerged from a sea of guests who were asking her to sign autographs.

"Hey kid!" The older woman with dark hair and a very stylish outfit waved at her, panting heavily.

"P'fa! Are you okay?" Love asked sweetly, pulling her arms away from the groupies as they both walked to the bar.

"Yeah!" she replied, panting and sitting down. Love picked up her drink and Engfa poured one for herself. "I never imagined I would be at Orm's daughter's bachelorette party."

Love let out a small laugh, taking a sip from her drink.

"Well, I never imagined you would be here either. Sorry about my friends' silly prank." She said with a smile, gesturing vaguely toward the party around them.

Engfa chuckled, running a hand through her hair.

"Your friends are wild. But you know what?" She leaned back on the barstool, a playful grin at her lips. "It made me feel young again."

Love smiled, watching as Engfa poured herself a drink. There was something disarming about her, something that made her feel at ease.

She hesitated for a moment, then decided to just go for it.

"Do you have children?" Love asked straightforwardly.

"Well, I sure do! My pet children. That's the extent of my relationship with motherhood. I would love to have a human child... I would spoil them a lot."

As Engfa sipped her glass of gin and tonic, Love eyed her warily. Studying her personality and her traits and qualities like a psychopath would. She didn't say anything.

"Who is your other parent?" Engfa asked suddenly, looking around.

"I don't know..." Love admitted. "I don't know who my other mother is."

The realization of what Love was conveying dawned on Engfa, but Love was suddenly dragged onto the dance floor by her friends.

Why can't I just stand still for one second? Love thought, her feet moving to the rhythm of the music almost on autopilot.

It seemed like every time she caught her breath, someone or something was pulling her into another situation. She felt like a loose pinball in an arcade game, bouncing around from one revelation to the next. If it wasn't her friends dragging her onto the dance floor, it was something or someone showing up unexpectedly, or worse, her own decisions dragging her into a chaos she didn't ask for.

But Love wasn't just caught in the chaos. She was the reason for it.

Someone from the group brought Love to the center of the dance floor, and she suddenly came face to face with a woman in a more casual attire, half-open button-down shirt, then she was greeted by businesswoman Ying.

"Hey! You know how to throw a party, young lady!" Ying exclaimed happily, all the shyness from before was gone.

"Thanks!" Love smiled at her and bowed, trying to get away from Ying.

She walked over but Ying kept talking to her.

"How did Orm get this place?" Ying asked out of the blue.

Love raised an eyebrow.

"Uh... she got some money from the lady she used to take care when I was little." Love explained. "her name was Khun Rak."

"My grandmother Khun Rak?" Ying questioned, raising an eyebrow, "She used to live in this island."

"Um... Maybe, I think so!?"
